Steel Type Pokemon are immune to Poison Type attacks and cannot be poisoned. This is shown in your Dual Type Chart, but is missing in your single type chart. This is very important. Also your chart is used as a reference in many places, thus this causing false information to circulate.

Could you please provide a link to the chart you are referring to? I just searched through as many of the site's different charts as I could find and did not find one that listed Poison as having an effect on Steel.

I think you are reading the type chart the wrong way round. The attacking type is down the left, if you find Poison on the left and follow that across to the Steel column, you'll see it shows the immunity.

I do see it could be confusing because the dual type chart has the attack along the top while the single type chart it's down the left.

Yep, that was ny mistake. I wonder why they did the two charts on the different axes.
Thanks!
I made the single type chart first and I just happened to choose it that way round (in fact if you search Google most charts do it the same way). But when I did the dual type chart a few years later, it would only fit on the page with the attack on the top.
