Jynx Title Jynx

Hey guys, it's JCM with another NU RMT. Well it's been a while I didn't post a NU RMT, and I was waiting for a consistent and successful team to come up. This team that I am presenting you is one of, if not THE best, NU team I have ever made. It's focused around Jynx, an extremely potent threat that is being re-tested in NU. Without further ado, here's the team!

Primeape @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Vital Spirit
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Ice Punch
- U-Turn

Primeape is part one of my Fighting-Dark-Psychic core, and also part one of my lead core. He will be leading more often than not, grabbing momentum right at the start with U-Turn, or just dent any Pokemon that isn't a dedicated wall with it's attacks. Close Combat is STAB, and is here so Primeape can make some Pokemon suffer, such as the prominent Rock types and the addition of Munchlax to the tier, to name a few. Stone Edge is here to hit some specific Pokemon such as Charizard, Scolipede and bros harder than Ice Punch would. Speaking of punching, Ice Punch is extremely useful against numerous threats when I cannot risk missing with Stone Edge, given it's shaky accuracy. U-Turn, as explained at the beginning of this description, is my own little ball of momentum, allowing me to hit Psychic-types on the switch, surprising those who expect Close Combat. Choice Scarf is the chosen Item as opposed to Sawk, another Fighting type in NU, Primeape is not my wallbreaker but he is my revenge killer. The EV Spread and Nature ensure that I hit hard while having as much Speed as possible.

Misdreavus @ Eviolite
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spe
Impish Nature
- Foul Play
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
- Taunt

Misdreavus is part two of my lead core, and is absolutely vital to my team. Why is that? It's because it brings a lot of resistances to my team, and is a defensive pivot, while maintaining close to decent (lol) offensive presence and very useful support. It's the only defensive presence on my team, so when I see a threat to my team, I try to keep Missy alive as long as possible. Foul Play goes over the obvious Shadow Ball because it's capable of doing a lot of damage in this physically-oriented meta, and also because Misdreavus attracts set-up sweepers like moths to a lamp. Will-O-Wisp is not counter-productive with Foul Play, which is just an urban myth. It allows me to dent some Pokemon that could highly annoy my team such as Scolipede or Skuntank. Pain Split is the only way that she has to heal herself, and I can use it to wear down Defensive threats with colossal HPs like Alomomola and Lickilicky. Taunt is used to stop defensive threats, and further helps Jynx setting up because if I Taunt Alomomola, I can freely bring in Jynx. Eviolite is for the added bulk, and that's what the EV Spread and Nature concentrates on.

Golem @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 212 HP / 252 Atk / 44 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Rock Blast
- Earthquake
- Sucker Punch
- Stealth Rock

Lol gonna shorten up descriptions now. Anyways this is the standard Golem, and it's here to bring me an Electric immunity and Stealth Rock, which helps dent some switch-ins and help me turn some 2HKO's into OHKO's. Earthquake and Rock Blast form together the EdgeQuake combination, granting me close to perfect coverage in NU. Sucker Punch is really amazing, letting me hit some faster stuff that think they can kill me (Jynx). It also helps me clean up. The EV Spread and Nature are standard, and Leftovers over anything else because Golem needs to stay alive as it's my only Flying-type check.

Skuntank (M) @ Dread Plate
Trait: Aftermath
EVs: 252 Atk / 212 SDef / 44 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Sucker Punch
- Taunt
- Crunch

Skuntank is part two of my Psychic-Fighting-Dark core, and traps Ghost and Psychic types that trouble this team like nothing else (Move aside Houndour!!). Sucker Punch and Pursuit put the opponent's Psychic-type in a checkmate position, the first one that is useful priority and the second one that probably OHKO's it if it switches out. Even better, if it stays in and tries to use a Status Attack, I can just use Crunch and deal massive damage. Taunt prevents setup and status moves, something Jynx appreciates a lot. Dread Plate is used over Black Sludge because this is a mono-attacking set, and the EV Spread and Nature are standard.

Ludicolo @ Life Orb
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
IVs: 29 HP
- Rain Dance
- Hydro Pump
- Giga Drain
- Ice Beam

So yeah, Ludicolo is my late-game cleaner, and he does it extremely well. Rain Dance and Hydro Pump work in tandem with Swift Swim to hit extremely hard in Rain while being extremely fast. Giga Drain is useful STAB, and brings a bit of recovery, while Ice Beam completes the unresisted move trio. Life Orb over anything else to hit harder, the EV Spread and Nature are standard and 29 HP IVs to minimize LO damage.

Jynx @ Leftovers
Trait: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Lovely Kiss
- Ice Beam
- Psychic

The star of the team, the anti-prostitution leader herself (She was a prostitute before and she would have sex with fapping Slaking sprites), Jynx! She is the final part of my Psychic-Fighting-Dark core and I am using a obscure, but extremely effective set. Substitute takes advantage of Jynx's capability to force numerous switches, while Lovely Kiss incapacitates a threat for a while. Ice Beam and Psychic are tremendously strong STABs with no drawbacks, and with that massive SAtk Jynx won't be leaving anything unscratched. Even some of her counters, such as Munchlax and Grumpig, are either forced out by Primeape, or trapped and killed by Skuntank. This set is pretty easy to use since I can take advantage of Alomomola's. The EV Spread and Nature are standard, and Leftovers is chosen over LO because I want to be able to make more Subs.
