Pokémon Rate My Team

I'm just starting to get into competitive battling so I can try entering the championships someday and I've gone through trial and error trying to create the best team. I've got no idea if the general tiers could be mixed ( like OU and UU, but I think i did that with some) so there might be some problems there. Some of the pokemon's setups I got from this site and tinkered with it a bit to fit my style better. I've got a number of pokemon that are battle ready but these are my current main party:

Party
Gengar @ Twisted Spoon
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Hex
- Hypnosis
- Dream Eater
Used in combo with Sableye, has some good speed so he moves fast and hits hard. Took away the Spell Tag in place of Twisted Spoon to boost his Dream Eating power.

Sableye @Iron Ball
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 Spe
Bold Nature
-Quash
-Will-o-Wisp
-Foul Play
-Trick
Used with Gengar to set up a devastating Hex, good staller at times, Trick to slow someone down, Quash to do the same later, Foul Play seemed like a better alternative to Night Shade.

Mawile @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate/Huge Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 134 Def / 124 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Play Rough
-Sucker Punch
-Fire Fang
-Iron Head
My hard hitting mega/Fairy-Killer. Used a move set recommended on here and tinkered with it a bit.

Zapdos @ Wide Lens
Ability: Pressure
EVs:6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
-Thunderbolt
-Drill Peck
-Heat Wave
-Steel Wing
Meant to hit hard and fast as well, Wide Lens used to ensure he doesn't miss. Hidden abilities for legends aren't available except for the Genies and Temporal legends and only from the DR, so no Static on this one. Also replaced Air Cutter with Drill Peck because it hardly did anything.

Tyrantrum @ Hard Stone
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 6 Hp / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
-Head Smash
-Earthquake
-Dragon Dance
-Dragon Claw
My physical destroyer, holding the Hard Stone to boost Head Smash which, when coupled with Rock Head, prevents all recoil damage and makes it INSANELY OP. Dance to speed him up even more and hit harder. Thought about replacing Dragon Claw with Outrage to sweep more easily but decided against it due to the confusion part.

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze/Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 6 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Dragon Dance
-Flare Blitz
-Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
My second mega in case Mawile doesn't go well against the opposition. Dance for the boosts and all physical attacks which are boosted by Tough Claws by 33%.

This is my primary team and they've pulled their own rather well, only losing to a couple people who made a full party of nothing but Uber legends.

These are my main party. I've got a number of reserves but didn't add them here. Any advice, ratings on them all, and even suggestions of pokemon who could work better here would be appreciated. Also, my primary fighting style is to end it ASAP (go in and sweep them with OHKOs or THKOs) so strategies that might be a bit more dynamic or complex probably wouldn't work with me too well because of that fighting habit. Thanks in advance for the rating and any advice.

EDIT: Removed Reserves because it was too ridiculously long and someone said that it might give people the impression that I'd switch everyone around too much.

Lol make sure to fight more. It really helps u to realize ur main counters and flaws of ur team.  It would also really help people who answer  if u have a team that suits ur style. Otherwise its a good possibility that u'll change pokemon like crazy.
Expecially if u've just started competitive battling.
@Polai Alright, well I've removed the reserves listed so nobody should get that impression. I don't really switch my party around a whole lot, only if I need to.
i would highly recommend hyper cutter on mawile, this is so it wont be effected by intimidate and then it can mega and get huge power
IMO keep Intimidate on Mawile. It allows you to switch it into most physical attackers in general and has a lot more utility than Hyper Cutter. Plus, if you're running Swords Dance on it, the drop doesn't really matter too much anyway. Nonetheless, it hits hard even with an Atk drop.

Alrighty first of all, try running Gengar like so:

Gengar @ Black Sludge / Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave / Sludge Bomb
- Will-O-Wisp / Substitute
- Focus Blast / Dazzling Gleam / Disable / Substitute

Hypnosis+Dream Eater is really gimmicky a downright bad when you look at it. Dream Eater is only 100 BP and the opponent has to be asleep for it to be usable. Shadow Ball after STAB is 120 BP which is already stronger and you don't need a turn of putting something to sleep.

Will-O-Wisp is typically used on the Life Orb set while Substitute is usually run on the Black Sludge set. You can run both but that's a little dangerous imo. Focus Blast let's you hit Bisharp which you can either burn or setup a Substitute against.

Sableye @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 Spe
Bold Nature
- Taunt
- Will-O-Wisp
- Foul Play
- Recover

I like the idea of Iron Ball+Prankster Trick but maybe try this. The recovery as well as shutting down potential sweepers/hazards is really helpful.

Now you said you liked OU/UU, if you're going to play OU, Mega Mawile is banned and unusable. You can run Bisharp as a replacement. If you are just playing regular though, you'll find that Mawile is a fantastic Pokémon and easily one of the best megas.

Mawile @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate/Huge Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 134 Def / 124 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance / Fire Fang

So I'd assume you know that the speed EVs let you outspeed Scizor, Clefable, 0 Speed Tyranitar, as well as anything with base 65 speed or lower? That's pretty good tbh. I like this set a lot, literally the only thing I'd change is put Swords Dance on it because you can setup against things like [email protected]

If you decide to do OU, here's a Bisharp set:

Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
- Knock Off
- Pursuit

Bisharp is awesome in this meta because of how strong Dark type is. Pursuit is really important along with Knock Off. Iron Head and Sucker Punch are his niche allowing him to kill faster opponents and slay fairies.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Heat Wave / Hidden Power [Ice] / Hidden Power [Grass]
- Roost
- Defog

Or

Zapdos @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Speed
Bold Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Heat Wave / Roost
- Hidden Power [Ice] / Hidden Power [Grass] / Roost

Tyrantrum @ Lum Berry
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 6 Hp / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
-Head Smash
-Earthquake
-Dragon Dance
-Dragon Claw

Lum Berry helps you set up against more things. Also a personal favorite set of mine:

Tyrantrum @ Choice Band
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 6 Hp / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Head Smash
- Earthquake
-Fire Fang
- Outrage

Almost nothing switches into this monster. Things like Hippowdon or Swampert (pretty much physically bulky ground types) I believe are the only ones to get in the way, once you get rid of them with HP Grass Zapdos or chip at them with Gengar, Mega Mawile, etc you should be free to punch holes through whatever's left.

I would suggest sticking to Zard X if you're doing OU. This set is pretty solid so I'd keep it the way it is. However, if you're running MMawile then you shouldn't run this guy. It's never a good idea to run two megas. Replace him with Heatran would be what I say. Heatran and Mawile work beautifully together.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Toxic / Taunt

Taunt allows you to beat things like Clefable easier, however Clefable isn't an issue since you have MMawile. It can also help against Ferrothorns who want to be cheeky and stay in to get up seeds predicting you to overpredict, not a legitimate reason to run it but it helps.

Alright, thanks for the rate and suggestions. I'll try a few of these out, tinker with them a bit, and see how they do. I didn't know that Mega Mawile was banned in OU either. All I knew were that the Uber legends were banned in the tournaments, so thanks for letting me know that as well.
