Here, let me round out the team. Your Ponyta has a rather pointless set. I replaced it with the more standard defensive Ponyta set, which is much more versatile and is annoying for many Pokemon to deal with. It's a utility mon more than anything, but at least I kept Ponyta.

Abra is a fantastic Pokemon in LC, but not with the set you gave it. It's defenses are bad, even for LC. It gets no benefit from the Eviolite, so I instead decided to use a focus sash. Carvanah manages speed control, so Abra has many opportunities to win games for you. I went with another Smogon tested set. Psychic, Dazzling Gleam, HP Fighting, and Protect

Carvanah is the last of my standard sets. Its fantastic speed control that can take out threats and help Abra win the game for you. It also serves as a secondary win condition, hitting extremely hard with Life Orb. Protect helps you get a free speed boost, while Waterfall, Psychic Fangs, and Crunch are great coverage.

Dratini is rather average in LC, or even below average. In fact, neither Honedge nor Aron are much better. I replaced Honedge with Sandygast. You needed a Pokemon to set up Stealth Rock, which is a fantastic move in competitive Pokemon. Sandygast has good synergy with the rest of your team. I went with a specially defensive eviolite variant so that it can deal with threats like choiced Mienfoo and other fighting types.

I really wanted to make a better defensive core with our Defogger/Spinner, and Vullaby was the only Pokemon that fit the bill. I opted for a more defensive set with Defog, Roost, Knock Off, and U Turn.

In the end, I still wasn't sure about the fighting type matchup of the team and the new team was weak to dark, so I made the last member the rather uncommon Snubull. I gave the dog Berry Juice for reliable recovery, as well as a moveset of Thief, Earthquake, Heal Bell, and Play Rough. Snubull is a useful pivot that rounds out the teams strengths and weaknesses

Hey someone else who actually knows a bit about LC! I thought I was alone in this cruel world.
When you change more than half of the puppy person's team, is it still puppy's team?
If someone wants to take the time to answer something i don't mind if it means drastic changes. If the team needs drastic changes it should get them, its just that we tend to not answer questions like that.
