Ash-Greninja is a devastating wallbreaker, late-game cleaner, and the team's Spiker. Serperior likes Heatran being worn down upon switching in, Heatran can pile on even more damage with Stealth Rock and is even harder to switch into with hazards, Mega Lopunny destroys almost everything with Spikes and Rocks up, and Tornadus-T and Magearna appreciate having Spikes and Rocks up to make U-turn and Volt Switch even more punishing. Serperior gets rid of Pokemon Ash-Greninja doesn't really like, such as Toxapex, Magic Guard Clefable, Ferrothorn (after a boost), and Tapu Fini. Tapu Fini is the big one here because it is a Defogger with a positive matchup against both Heatran and Ash-Greninja. Heatran is the Stealth Rocker and the primary Toxic switchin. Magma Storm, Earth Power, and Toxic let it trap and remove so many threats, this mon is fantastic. Mega Lopunny's combination of Scrappy Return and High Jump Kick has very few switch-ins. It also is a source of powerful physical damage for this team. You don't have to wait a while to get rid of Chansey if you can just kick it in the face. Fake Out is used to revenge-kill the miniscule amount of naturally faster Pokemon like Mega Alakazam, Speed boosters like Dragon Dance Mega Charizard X and Terrain Seed Hawlucha, Choice Scarfers (not named Tapu Lele) and priority users like Water Shuriken Ash-Greninja, and is free damage which helps with the whole 'destroying everything' thing. Ice Punch is in the 4th moveslot for physically defensive Ground types, most notably Landorus-Therian. Tornadus-Therian has a nice STAB, Knock Off, and Defog. Regenerator lets it effectively be part of VoltTurn along with Magearna, even with Stealth Rocks up. U-turn lets it safely bring in one of this team's offensive threats which have a hard time coming in while simultaneously racking up entry hazard damage, making it an integral part of this team. While Tornadus-Therian's Rocky Helmet is there for a reason, AV Magearna specializes in taking Special hits. Fleur Cannon is strong and Magearna can usually come in and fire it off once again without U-turn support. Volt Switch dents Toxapex and Tapu Fini, also scouts switchins, forces hazard damage, and does decent damage. I picked Ice Beam because sometimes, going for the Volt Switch can be pretty predictable, which obviously means Ground types switching in. Ice Beam lets it bait that Landorus-Therian or Gliscor, and destroy it. Flash Cannon is used to get rid of Clefable (and to not lower Speed and in turn waste Speed EVs to outspeed uninvested Clefable if I were to run Iron Head instead).

"Why aren't you running a Z-move?"

I might just be wrong, but I don't see them as necessary on a team. The big damage is nice, but damage-dealing Z-moves pretty much require investment into Attack or Special Attack, but I really need Heatran, Tornadus-T, and Magearna to stick around throughout a game and do their thing.
