Liepard (M) @ Bug Gem

Trait: Limber
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Rain Dance
- U-turn
- Night Slash
- Seed Bomb

My lead. Rain dance gets in a nice little set up, and then he gets to U-turn out into something in my team that can benefit from it. Night Slash and Seed Bomb can take out threats before setting up Rain dance.

Beartic (F) @ Choice Band

Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Ice Punch
- Stone Edge
- Brick Break
- Aqua Jet

First sweeper. When the rain goes up, I want to take out as many threats as fast as I can before it runs out. Defensive weather teams ( when you don't have everlasting weather ) are harder to work out. Ice Punch is STAB, running off of a band, that gets lots of KOs.
Stone edge is nice coverage along with Brick Break. Aqua Jet is priority sweeping and gets a rain boost.

Ampharos (M) @ Choice Scarf

Trait: Static
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunder
- Volt Switch
- Power Gem
- Focus Blast

My second rain sweeper. Once again, I need to take stuff out fast. Thunder is STAB, going off of a 115 base sp attack stat and a 120 BP move... you're going to do some damage. Volt Switch can let you scout. Power Gem is for the abundance of bugs in NU. Focus Blast is for various threats and coverage.

Alomomola (F) @ Damp Rock

Trait: Hydration
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Rain Dance
- Wish
- Healing Wish
- Waterfall

This guy can set up a rain dance that will last for 8 turns instead of 5. This can be super useful, but he doesn't get U-turn like Liepard, meaning he isn't going to damage on the switch. Instead I like using Healing Wish to go ahead and get that safe switch ( not switching into an attack or anything ) AND I can give full HP to whoever comes in along with clearing them of any nasty status they pick up. Things like Beartic getting screwed by para-hax AND burn-hax can make great use of this.

Basculin (F) @ Life Orb

Trait: Adaptability
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Waterfall
- Aqua Jet
- Crunch
- Superpower

STAB + Rain boost + Adaptability boost = unresistable
Waterfall is STAB for threats I know he can out speed. Aqua Jet is for threats I know he can't out speed. Crunch and Superpower are both coverage.

Armaldo (M) @ Leftovers

Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 HP / 196 Atk / 60 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- X-Scissor

Spins away hazards. Sets up hazards of my own. Stone Edge + X-scissor gives you dual STAB.

Why not Superpower on Beartic over BB? Sure, you'll probably have to switch out, but usually when the situation calls for using Superpower, this move is your last hope. Brick Break just does not have the power, even coming off that excellent Attack stat (sorry if this turns out to be wrong, but I don't have a Gen V damage calculator. But this usually happens to be the case for me with Pokemon like Scizor, who have excellent attack but still don't manage to break the foes with Brick Break).

Also, in my experience with using Liepard, Fake Out is an excellent move on it. Consider that over Seed Bomb. This might become a more viable option if you add the Grass type I'm suggesting below. Fake Out gives you free damage, which is always great. Combined with the damage from U-Turn, this should easily bring most foes in the range for an Aqua Jet (or so I assume, still lacking a damage calculator).

Finally, perhaps fitting a Ludicolo on your team? You can replace Alo for it.
Ludicolo (F) @ Damp Rock
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SAtk / 28 SDef / 228 Spd (should outspeed the fastest of the standard Scarf users)
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Rain Dance
- Giga Drain
- Scald/Hydro Pump/Surf
- Ice Beam

This guy could be of major use against Aqua Jet.
J believe he is Ru not Nu
Ludicolo? Smogon has it in NU.
Why not dive in stead of waterfall
Because Dive gives the foe a free turn to do whatever they want, usually getting a free switch in.
That's true.
Oh and two other things besides that.
1. He'd hate to waste a turn, as the clock is ticking on Rain Dance.
2. Two Waterfalls>One Dive
Prankster on Liepard over Limber. Easier RD setup.
