Effects

Dire Hit raises the critical-hit ratio stat of a Pokémon in battle by one stage. It can only be used once per Pokémon, per battle.

Changes

In Generation 1, Dire Hit does not work correctly and decreases the Pokémon's critical-hit ratio by 75%.
