What is the easiest way to beat Cynthia's Garchomp in platinum?

My team keeps fainting on it and it's making me mad. I've got some pretty good level pokemon (Empoleon LVL:67, Azelf & Uxie LVL:50, Giritina LVL:48, Staraptor LVL:41, and Luxray LVL: 41) but nothing's working... and I've got them equipped with attack boosting items... help?

Try to level them up more because Garcomp is level 60 somthing.
YOU TRAIN
You should train your pokemon a LOT more and teach one of them ice beam or some kind of good ice type move. Isn't it obvious?

You should teach your Empoleon ice beam. It's 4x damage! 4x 90=360 damage!

Where do you get Ice Beam?
it is on route 217 up on the cliff you need rock climb to get it or the arcade in veilstone city
Just puting this out there, but ice beam has 95 damage, not 90.  Even better :)
@Fritjof- Whoops!
that would be 380
That's just the power, not the damage it does. It depends on levels, too.
Not Empoleon! Garchomps Ground-Type moves are 2x super-effective against Empoleon! Catch a Snorunt on Route 217 at night time. Then take some time off the Pokemon League and train Snorunt until it evolves into Glalie! Snorunt evolves into Glalie at Lv. 42! Glalie can also learn strong Ice-Type moves such as Ice Beam, Blizzard and Sheer Cold! I know this because I have a Lv. 100 Glalie with these moves!
It's more like 95x4.

One way is to raise your Pokemon to higher levels. Either that or have a Pokemon that Garchomp's atacks don't affect very much, like a levitating ghost-type since it knows Giga Impact and Earthquake. Then give it a really strong Ice-type attack since it's weak against that type, along with a lock-on move to guarantee that it hits. I'd recommend using a lock-on move like Mind Reader and an Ice-type attack like Blizzard or Ice Beam. Other regularly-effective attacks will also help when its health gets low enough to where you can easily knock it out and Cynthia won't use a Full Restore on it.

That's going to take a long time and how can you be sure that it doesn't defeat the whole team first?

Your best bet is to teach Empoleon Ice Beam or make any pokemon use an Ice attack on it. It is times 4 damage.
