Can you trick plates onto arceus and the griserious orb onto giratina?

Use the move trick becuase that could ruin these pokemon

"The user switches held items with the target. It fails if neither has a held item, if either Pokémon is holding Griseous Orb or Mail, if the target has a Substitute, or if either Pokémon has Sticky Hold. It also fails if either Pokémon has Multitype and either is holding a plate."

Straight from Bulbapedia, so anything with a plate or Multitype fails. Since Arceus is both, then it will obviously fail. However, in Generation V, you CAN use trick on a Griseous orb, but only as long as the target nor the user is Giratina, so it's essentially useless.
