What if a Pokemon and another one with the same exact speed both uses extreme speed at the same time?

Title. Also the TV on XY said that if they both use it at the same time the one with higher speed will go first. So if they both have the same speed, which one is first?

My understanding is that if their Speed stat is the same, and they both use moves of equal priority, and no other factors like Abilities or Items are involved, then it should be a 50% chance for either one to go first.

This is known as a Speed Tie and its a 50/50 chance for one to go before the other. So its literally a coin toss.
