Question

I read up on all the training stuff like EV's and personalitys, and I started using them. But my pokemon still cant do anything so anyone I battle, Am I missing something or is their somethin els I need to know about pokemon?

Your not missing anything !
Four ev points of a stat give +1 to that stat AFTER leveling up unless you use medicines such as hp up .
They wont show a drastic effect straight away but gradually as you level up your stats will turn out to be highe than they would normally be .

That answer was perfect, I was going to ask another question about why my Iron and such weren't doing anything to the stats but you already answered it. :)
