Meta Battle Subway PokeBase - Pokemon Q&A

Which of the following pokemon should I leave off my team in order to make room for Togekiss?

I hope this doesn't get hid because I am trying to make this specific enough. I want as much type coverage as possible, and I want to have an almost even balance between special and physical attackers. Please help!

My team:

Swampert
- Curse
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Avalanche
Item Attached: Ice Gem
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)

Ferrothorn
- Spikes
- Power Whip
- Gyro Ball
- Leech Seed
Item Attached: Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)

Hydreigon
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Surf
- Flamethrower
Item Attached: Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

Scizor
- Superpower
- U-Turn
- Pursuit
- Bullet Punch
Item Attached: Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

Infernape
- Stone Edge
- Overheat
- Close Combat
- Grass Knot
Item Attached: Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 64 Atk / 252 SAtk / 192 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)

Starmie
- Rapid Spin
- Thunderbolt
- Surf
- Ice Beam
Item Attached: Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 40 HP/ 176 SAtk / 252 Spd

This is the Togekiss that I want to put on my team:

Togekiss
- Wish
- Air Slash
- Aura Sphere
- Thunder Wave
Item Attached: Brightpowder
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

I don't want to take out Hydreigon, Ferrothorn, or Swampert. Please explain your reasoning. If you give a good enough reason, I will take out any of my Pokemon. Thanks in advance!

this is what i would use i will post reasons below

Ferrothorn (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 68 Def / 188 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Power Whip
- Gyro Ball

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Damp
EVs: 252 HP / 116 Def / 140 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Avalanche
- Waterfall
- Curse
- Earthquake

Togekiss (M) @ BrightPowder
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs:
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Air Slash
- Aura Sphere
- Thunder Wave
- AncientPower

Hydreigon (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Dark Pulse
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Flamethrower

Reuniclus (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 36 Def / 184 SAtk / 36 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Energy Ball

Blaziken (M) @ Flight Gem
Trait: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Protect
- Blaze Kick
- Acrobatics
- Hi Jump Kick

if this team is po switch out infernape for blazeken if it isn't keep infernape.

Infernape (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 96 Atk / 160 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Overheat
- Rock Slide
- Grass Knot
- Close Combat

firstly I have an attachment to reuniclus and highly suggest switching starmie out for it.i just don't think that starmie is that strong, even with life orb.and reuniclus doesn't take life orb damage because of magic guard.

secondly swampert doesn't need stealth rock, that can be ferrothorns job as a lead.i took out scizor because having two pokemon with a 4x weakness to fire isn't very good.

lastly if you can get speed boost blazeken use that instead of infernape

EDIT:i got rid of starmie because he already has a water type.secondly i think rapid spin is stupid for it because none of his team is specifically weak to entry hazards and if it uses that its flair defences will mean that on hit will ohko it.this is my set any way

Starmie @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 Hp / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Surf
- Psyshock
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam

Your right, Starmie to me doesn't really even look cool.
It's held up in OU since generation I for a reason. It's still a very reliable sweeper and one of the few pokemon able to use rapid spin well. It doens't really fit on this team as it doens't have a very big entry hazard weakness, but don't just brush off starmie like that. STAB water and STAB psychic are great for an area full of fighting types.

@torterra: How a pokemon looks doesn't play a role in its usefulness.
Pretty sure perfect coverage with 357 speed and 299 spatk is no slouch. Starmie is great. He opens the way for togekiss
I would get rid of Ferroseed, just because Ferroseed isn't that strong, and Starmie looks awesome. :D
Oh NO way. Ferothorn (Feroseed) is a great tank and staller. (by the way LOOK AT THE DATE, you are commenting on a question which was asked more than a year ago. >.<
You have your opinion, and I have mine. Lol I had no idea this was over a year ago!!!
