People go on Youtube and Facebook, etc while they're on the chat room, waiting for someone to post, so light up the little tab box so they know.

Make a button so you can turn of the light if there are constant posts coming in.

With how busy the chat can get sometimes with all the fluent messages, I would personally find that to be more annoying than helpful; just my two cents!
