Question

8,000 is the limit, but i've seen at least for the META/ RMT where questions have reached that point.

So the request is a word counter next to the question/ answer box. Imagine we reached the limit and it is 2 words over. Then we can find a way to take 2 words away. But for now, it can be 1 word or 100 words over.

On a side note: why is there a limit? It's very annoying. Especially on the gyms post. Can it be 20,000?

And another note: Take out the character limit for chat.

X = # of characters you have typed.
8,000 = Max # of characters possible.

8000 is the limit and this would help me so much, about 5 times on RMT I've had a question or answer over the limits.

I don't think raising the limit is necessary, but a character counter could be useful.
There is a limit on characters for a reason. and I'm sure questions weren't originally intended for long posts.

Good idea, and I'll add this when I get the time. FYI the limit is likely going to stay at 8,000 I don't see a reason for it to be longer. If you run out of space you wrote too much ;)
