If I post a comment, say, lol. I return very far... Then I post something else, say, :P. Then I return very far... It keeps the spaces. You should cut that down to one or two returns. Look at my comment below...

Two things I know:
1) Answering a question with some spacing of more than one spacebar tap (also includes carriage-returns/line-feeds) requires HTML tags like the <br> tag.
2) Commenting on a question or an answer does not render HTML tags.  Sounds likes it's taking all of the text in a comment as literal and will not parse the HTML tags, but the opposite is true in the answers. (This makes sense to any and all programmers out there.)
