How about, if you're on the site for more than 2 years you recieve a star?

You need to be active at least 50 perceent of the time, and you need to not be banned

Is this a good suggestion?

What does a star do?
like to distinguish the new members from the old ones?
Wouldn't that imply that they were better though?
sure, lets see what pokemaster thinks or other people
I would prefer the rank upgrade of "The Old Guard: Moderator" "The Old Guard: Editor" "The Old Guard: Expert" "The Old Guard: Registered User"
That would be better, I guess
I like Trachy's idea haha
Trachys ideas is great!
This could be pretty cool (and I'm almost two years registered :) ), though it has its problems. As Absol mentioned, this would make newer users look 'worse' than older users, which likely is true. Points shOuld keep a feel of superioririty in the air - there's no need to overdose anything. Plus, where would the star go? The site is already pretty busy on the page with text - and adding a star might no look as flash as you may like it to be...

Still, (as usual) I get what you mean. It's just when the site is 100 years old, our current users will have something like 50 stars. O_o
yeah, this idea basically says youre better than me bacause you have known absout this site for longer. It shold by our abilities on pokemon whick are judged by points
