I was thinking of getting a ROM of White 2 for my laptop. It's free, but I want to know is it safe? If you've ever downloaded a ROM or an emulator, please tell me so I know it's safe.

It obviously depends where you get it from, because some are gonna be viruses, but I'm sure theres gonna be some legitamate ones out there. I had an emerald one before and it was fine but you have to be careful

McAfee seems to be ok with the following sites:
