There's been some tension between these two for some time now, and only recently has that tension exposed itself. I see two sides to this argument and just want to say a few things:
To Metalord: Speedfreak doesn't hate you, he just wants to keep the peace here, so to speak. He's about trying to enforce the rules-both on the chat as well as the Q & A section, and in doing so, he can come off as cold or harsh at times. Please know his intentions are good though, and that he's just trying to do what he thinks is right. That being said, if he's offended by the way you carry yourself on the chat, then I ask you to tone it down a bit. I'm not saying to completely overhaul your things, but practice some restraint; this means no swearing, no sexual things, and when talking about people we don't know, don't speak as if we do.
To speedfreak: Having seen some of the stuff Metalord has put up, I completely understand where you are coming from with this, and I agree that it should be stopped. However, I think we are being a bit rash by banning him like that. Metalord would just end up being the first of many victims, and gradually, we'll have smaller and smaller reasons to ban him. People who just spam stuff or post obscenities should be banned, but Metalord can still hold some benefits. SF, I see you as a monster hunter, since you want to make this site different from the other pokemon sites, where we have disciplined freedom, but not ruled by tyranny. The problem with being a monster hunter is that over time, you can become the very thing you seek to destroy. If we have such an iron fist on the site, then that harshness will only drive others away from the site. We wouldn't want to become so power-hungry that we lose sight of the main reason we worked for it, do we? Metalord does need to make changes, yes, but how can you give him a chance by just wanting to ban him like that?
-In short, I ask you both to compromise. Metalord, if you agree to clean up your speaking a bit, I'm sure SF will have no more desire to try and ban you. And SF, if you loosen up a bit, I'm sure Metalord will be less inclined to be rebellious and speak the way he does to you. It's petty arguments like this that drive the site apart.
