Squirtle (M) @ Eviolite

Trait: Torrent
EVs: 244 HP / 212 Atk / 4 SDef / 12 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- Aqua Jet
- Toxic
- Ice Punch

My priority Water type (well, even more priority than Totodile). Fake Out gets in that free damage. Aqua Jet is great for taking down Fire types, getting that OHKO easily. Toxic is for other Water types. Those Pokemon once they get enough stat boosts up can wreck my team is left unchecked. Toxic checks them. This proved very helpful when I Toxic-stalled JCMs +2/+2 Totodile. Ice Punch is there to hit Grass type Pokemon on the switch, although it also does more damage to opposing Water types than Aqua Jet. Eviolite allows it to tank hits, mainly from opposing Water types but also from Fire types. So I also gave it a solid amount of bulk. I usually put it in the lead position but thanks to Wi-Fi clause I can swap it out for my true lead, Chimchar. This works even better since Squirtle in the lead position will attract Grass types.

Treecko (M) @ Choice Scarf

Trait: Overgrow
EVs: 36 HP / 240 SAtk / 200 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Giga Drain
- DragonBreath

Revenge-killer. Choice Scarf is odd, as usually this thing is Speced. But I thought Scarf would work better thanks to its ability to outspeed +1 Totodile as well as a number of other threats. Leaf Storm easily destroys Water types. But it can run out of PP, and since Treecko doesn't really have any other Special Attacks I also gave it Giga Drain. Dragonbreath does nothing really, again a matter of not having any attacks. At least it can be annoying and paralyze. HP Flying is able to hit Grass types for Super-Effective damage. It is used over Fire for the reason that it hits Fire and Water types for neutral damage and used over Poison or Bug for the reason that it hits Bulbasaur for SE ddamage, unlike those two. Max Speed and Special, plus some bulk.

Cyndaquil (F) @ Expert Belt

Trait: Blaze
EVs: 44 HP / 20 Atk / 200 SAtk / 236 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Nature Power
- Eruption
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Electric]

This guy was supposed to be doing heavy damage to Pokemon without any boosts, priority, or Scarfs. Of course, since those number many, this guy just ended up being my choice for a switch if I need to bring in one of my other Pokemon safely. Expert Belt will boost its attacks and can also fake a Specs. Nature Power goes as Earthquake and can hit Fire types for SE damage. Eruption does major damage but if Cyndaquil ends up getting low on health I'll use Flamethrower. Flamethrower is used over Fire Blast/Overheat due to its reliable accuracy. HP Electric hits Water types for Super-effective damage. Max Speed and Special Attack, plus some Attack and HP.

Chimchar (M) @ Life Orb

Trait: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 212 Atk / 52 SAtk / 4 SDef / 188 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Fake Out
- Overheat
- Protect
- ThunderPunch

My lead. Fake Out gets that free hit off. Of course, I might be matched up against another Chimchar. Instead of taking a risk, I'll use protect. And Protect proves very helpful against Squirlte, causing it to use up its Fake Out. It also helps with Toxic stalling. This proved helpful in the JCM battle, in which I used Fake Out and Protect to stall out Totodile further. Overheat does high damage and since it is the only Special attack does not harm Chimchar. Thunderpunch hits Water types, usually on the switch. Max Attack and Speed, a good amount in Special, plus some bulk. Life Orb is used to increase power.

Bulbasaur (F) @ Eviolite

Trait: Overgrow
EVs: 236 SAtk / 240 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power [Rock]
- Giga Drain
- Sleep Powder

I know this thing is usually Scarfed. But I wanted to use Sleep Powder and then attack the next turn. People didn't seem to be expecting it. Sludge Bomb is STAB and hits Grass types for SE damage (except Bulbasaur, although with Sleep Powder I can beat opposing Bulbasaur). Giga Drain is STAB against Water types. HP Rock is to hit Fire types. Eviolite allows it to take a hit from Grass and Water type foes. Max Special Attack and max speed to give it some ooomph.

Totodile (F) @ Life Orb

Trait: Torrent
EVs: 200 HP / 236 Atk / 4 Def / 52 SDef / 12 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Ice Punch
- Aqua Jet
- Return
- Swords Dance

I saw this guy on every team, but as a Dragon Dancer. That reliance on Dragon Dance wasn't for me. I didn't want it to be forced out by a Scarfed Grass type. But the Swords Dance set has less reliance on setting up. In fact, I never did use Swords Dance. Aqua Jet is the main point of this set, defeating Fire types with a OHKO. Ice Punch hits Grass type switch-ins. Return is for other Water types. Max Attack and a Life Orb for power, the rest mainly in bulk in order to take a resisted or neutral hit better, then a bit in Speed.
