PokeBase Meta Battle Subway - RMT

NU team (Germany)

This team performed admirably, yet it seems weak to hax. :P
But seriously, a weakness I noticed was speed. Gurdurr can handle it sometimes, but not always. It does have a solid amount of bulk to deal with that though. However, I could replace Armaldo with Pinsir or Gardevoir (both of them would be Scarfed). This would take away from the bulk of my team, as well as get rid of my Spinning+Rocks.
Anyways, it is able to perform up there with any NU team, even though it has two PUs.

Washakwil (Braviary) (M) @ Life Orb

Trait: Defiant
EVs: 56 HP / 252 Atk / 200 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Return
- Superpower

A Pokemon that has worked out great. Being able to OHKO Amoonguss is always something to be proud of. And while Alo can cause it trouble, the Zebstrika+Braviary Special/Physical offensive core works wonders. Roost is nice as I can use it to heal off HP against weak neutral hits that would have otherwise KOd me. The EVs allow it to outspeed standard Band Sawk.

Duodino (Zweilous) (M) @ Eviolite

Trait: Hustle
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Outrage
- Crunch
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Musharna, Golurk without Dynamicpunch, Misdreavus, Gardevoir without Focus Blast or locked into Psychic, any Pokemon that gets hit by Outrage (OHKO and 2HKO galore) all of you eat your heart out. This thing is pretty bulky, especially when using Restalk (which helps against Burns), and is incredibly powerful. Unfortunately, it draws away on any luck I get. Hustle misses and Sleep Talk selecting Rest 75% of the time starts to wear on me.

Zebritz (Zebstrika) (F) @ Choice Specs

Trait: Lightningrod
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Overheat
- Hidden Power [Ice]

I love switching this thing in on Rotom. Thunderbolt after a Lightningrod boost actually 2HKOs Amoonguss (does around 40% otherwise). Volt Switch can do some stellar hit-and-run damage. Overheat and HP Ice are there for coverage. I'm surprised this guy is PU. I find it a lot more useful than Eelektross (whose usage is likely due to those who are playing with their ingame teams).

Strepoli (Gurdurr) (F) @ Eviolite

Trait: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Drain Punch
- Bulk Up
- Ice Punch
- Mach Punch

Sawk was all well and good but I wanted the bulk provided by Gurdurr. Standard set, no surprises here.

Previously used: Leafeon, Sawk

Traunfugil (Misdreavus) (F) @ Eviolite

Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 228 Def / 28 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Pain Split
- Heal Bell
- Will-O-Wisp

Can outspeed the standard Misdreavus. :P Support, Shadow Ball does decent neutral and SE damage. Pain Split keeps it alive, and I find it more useful than Taunt on this gal. Heal Bell to cure status. Will-o-wisp to screw physical attackers.

Armaldo (M) @ Lum Berry

Trait: Battle Armor
EVs: 124 HP / 252 Atk / 132 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock
- X-Scissor
- Rapid Spin

Armaldo can OHKO Armaldo (that explains the Speed EVs). Stone Edge and X-Scissor are STAB. Rapid Spin and Stealth Rock are utility.

I just won't battle during that time and have it be booted up to OU.
Lol, you scared?
No, just not stupid. Just like how I didn't battle at all while Gothitelle was PU.
My time is worth more than a few days of changes on all my teams.
Oh, ok, I get it :P
Sawk :3
