OK I don't do hail teams much but my theory is sound. i'll have a crack at it and see what happens.
I like your abomasnow set for stalling but Abomasnow is mainly for off the bat offence. I use this set to do damage before anything even starts.
Abomasnow @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 Atk
Mild Nature
- Blizzard
- Giga Drain
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Psychic]
not your average set. Although its weather could be cancelled out, it can KO most pokemon straight off, as well as often being switched in fear of losing the weather lead can be a good revenge killer and sweeper with good coverage. I'm not too good with descriptions so you might wanna test this yourself before any major decisions.
I like Lapras and is fine with that set. But pokemon like infernape will demolish with fast fighting type moves with the exception of of gliscor . if you need a water type try this...
Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Trait: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Earth Power
- Recover
- Scald
- Toxic
a great stall set. Immune to electric and powerful against fire type threats it great support to the team. recover is too...you know and toxic stalls them out.
you run offensive gliscor and give it a defensive set and ev's? Gliscor and Tentacruel make an effective defensive core so I will do them next to each other.
Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 184 Def / 252 HP / 72 Spd
Impish Nature
- Protect/ Ice fang
- Stealth Rock
- Substitute
- Earthquake
Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Spd / 240 SDef
Serious Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Scald
- Toxic Spikes
- Protect
Other than Psychic these two cover each others weakness and provides overall great support to the team. Gliscor provides SR and a wear down offence while Tentacruel spreads burn and stalls out SpAtk'ers.
OK sorry for the delay I will now continue.
Vanniluxe is good on Hail teams as a bulky attacker, but it follows on the inpending fight weakness. Keep this set if you want but you can try this out if it doesnt work out well.
Froslass@Focus sash
Trait: Snow cloak
Evs: 252 SpAtk 252 speed 4 HP
Nature: Timid
-Blizzard
-Destiny Bond
-Psychic
- Hidden power [Dark]
immune to fight type and unleashes the potenial of Focus sash and destiny bond. Psychic carrys on this anti-fight thing aand blizzard is STAB. Hidden power deals with ghost types.
You already have several Walls but no real Physical attacker. You need one. There aren't many physical psychic types but luckily the one there is is very powerful.
Metagross@life orb
Trait: Clear Body
Ev's: 252 Atk 252 Def 4 HP
Nature: Adamant
- Zen headbutt
- Bullet punch
- Ice punch
- Earthquake
A powerful tank. Because it lasts a long time due to great defence it puts a real hurting on with its epic attack! Zen is the STAB move of choice and Bullet punch adds some priority in pinch. Ice punch deals with ground types and earthquake...why not?
I hope these have been useful in your quest to be the best :]
