This is not a gimmick team, it's my way of saying " Screw you " to any idiots who think fire types can't function in rain.

All it does is pretty much lose STAB. So it becomes a coverage attack.
It's like using Starmie in Sun because of Rapid Spin, but either not giving it a Water type attack because you have Bolt-Beam and Psyshock (and Rapid Spin) or choose to give it Hydro Pump as coverage to replace either Bolt or Beam.
