Hello and welcome to another one of a Pika RMT. I am your host PikaMaster and today I shall be covering an Electric team. Now I've had this team for a couple months and its been a Premier choice of all my other Monotype teams and Do be in mind I have no use for any of the Electric megas so donot try and recommend me a Mega to use o3o! So without further stalling lets get into the RMT :D!

Team at your POV

You are probably think "PikaMaster Y U no using Pikachu :o?" Well the explaination is I wanted to try other Electric type pokemon but yea thats its really.

Kimat's Bite (Raikou) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 88 HP / 168 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
First up on the team is Raikou and well this particular set is just an Old SubCM set from 4th Gen and its back in this Gen to Rek out Competitors. Substitute is to keep Raikou alive during the Setup process, blocks off any type of moves that try to delete its Stab increase and its blocks all types of Status infliction for affecting it. Calm Mind is basic setup boosts. Thunderbolt is a excellent STAB of choice and when paired with Hidden power Ice It makes a makeshift Boltbeam combo.

Nikolai Tesla (Electivire) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Wild Charge
- Ice Punch
- Cross Chop
- Earthquake
Second up is Electivire. and well this is one of the very few Electric types that have a dominate Physical attack stat instead of Special power. Wild Charge is a strong STAB move with a bit of recoil on the side. Ice Punch checks Electivire's ground weakness and sports a decent amount of power. Cross Chop is a nice coverage move with a bit of a Risk and Reward but will eventually pay off in its own time.
Earthquake is for those other Electric type monos and Fire and Steel monos if necessary.

EMP (Rotom-Mow) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 200 SAtk / 252 HP / 56 SDef
Calm Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Volt Switch

EMP systems are up electronics are down!

As I made this I thought to myself "My team will be raped by Gastrodon, Whiscash, and Swampert if I dont get a grass type on my side." So thats where this guy comes in as the only Electric/Grass type in existence Rotom-M was sure to make my team
Leaf storm is STAB and its for those Water/Ground types that dont love my Electric moves. Thunderbolt is secondary STAB no more explaining there. Since Steel types (cough Excadrill cough) resist my STAB moves Hidden Power Fire helps me cover them just a smidgen. Volt switch is there to keep my teams momentum a bit more secure.

Avogardo (Thundurus-Therian) @ Life Orb
Ability: Volt Absorb
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
You probably wonder what this nickname means :P? well in COD BO2 Zombies there is a map where this name originates from and Thundurus looks similar to it.
Nasty Plot is a good boost move and though Thundrus doesnt look like the type of pokemon to get a boost and live well you are wrong :D? Thunderbolt is more STAB. Focus Blast help cover Steel, Rock, and Ice types with a cost of accuracy.
Hidden Power Ice again to make another makeshift BoltBeam combo and to help check those naughty Dragon types and the always annoying Gliscor/Lando :3.

DG2 (Magnezone) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Sturdy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SAtk / 180 HP / 76 SDef
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch
Wunderwaffe DG2 is this guy's full name but he'll settle with just DG2 :P. Boasting a monster Special attack power of 130 this will hurt even the best of special walls.
Thunderbolt is its First STAB and a powerful one paired with Magnezone. Hidden Power Fire give steel types like Aegislash a run for its money.Flash Cannon is its Secondary STAB and its can cripple a sturdy amount of Pokemon.
Volt Switch is just there to scout out moves and keep the momentum up and running

Distant Thunder (Eelektross) (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 204 SAtk / 180 Atk / 124 HP
Brave Nature
- Wild Charge
- Flamethrower
- Giga Drain
- Superpower
And Finally Eelektross :D! this pokemon is definitely an odd one imo, It has excellent Offensive stats and a wide variety of moves from its movepool this makes it a awesome wallbreaker and this is #2 pokemon to Rotom-M when it is unable to continue the fight. Did I mention it lacks a weakness :3? Anyways, lets get on with this. Wild Charge is its Premier STAB with minor recoil. Flamethrower is just a nice coverage move to Steel types that give me a bit of trouble. Giga Drain Yes this is the reason why this is #2 to Rotom-M it gets a Grass moves that can suck the life out of pesky Water/Ground types. Finally, Superpower is just to check Heatrans that don't take to kindly to Flamethrower

Checks to this team would have to be Mega Venusaur by far >.> and also Ground types like Excadrill.

Anyways thanks for your time reading my RMT Hope you found it interesting, and I will get on outta here :3.

I saw the COD reference :P. Great team tho :3
It might be worth trying out Thundurus-I > -T, and running Grass Knot, then change your Rotom type to something else, because otherwise you're sitting at two Fire weaknesses, and heavy weakness to Mold Breaker. I'm not a fan of Electivire, but he gives you physical offense support which is good.
This team would appreciate the ability to instantly stop fast sweepers that thundurus I has. That would be an excellent addition. I also think that rotom W would be better than c to still nail grounds while giving you a fire resist. But then gastro and co beat you so maybe add hp grass on something
Basically everything mk said
I'd suggest a counter to Gravity. Although not a common move to use, it has use in Monotype. After a Gravity, your entire team is swept whole by EQ by a Landorus. That niche is usually ran on Mono Flying Teams to counter Mono Electric. Therefore I would like to suggest an Air Balloon Mon to counter the tactic.
