Battleheart is an action/rpg game mainly ( that I know of ) for Apple products.
Been playing it to death on my iPod Touch....
Every character you can use in the game, has a role attached to them. This role decides their special moves, standard attacks, etc.
I'm making a team off of battle heart roles playing similar roles to what the character actually plays in the game.

Lucille (Audino) (F) @ Light Clay
Role: Cleric
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SDef
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Wish
- Heal Bell
- Light Screen
- Reflect
Lucille was the only available Cleric in battle heart. ( Standard attack was just healing an ally, then she got all of these super legit special attacks ) Wish heals team mates, Heal bell fixes status jazz. Dual screens makes the whole team's life easier. So yeah.

Garrick (Rampardos) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Role: Barbarian
Trait: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Brick Break
- Crunch
Garrick was 1 of 2 available Barbarians. Both Barbarians were known for hitting ridiculously hard ( Dual wielding weapons hard ) with low defenses, and normally have items equipped to boost their speed / attacking rate.
So I thought a scarfed Ramp would be perfect here. Edge-Quake is known for good coverage. While Edge is STAB. Brick Break and Crunch are coverage ( Fight + Dark is also great coverage )

Sheperd (Mew) @ Life Orb
Role: Knight
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Flame Charge
- Zen Headbutt
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
The knight was balanced in bulk and such, with slightly better attack if you know what to do with him. ( Some say he was better bulk, as he is naturally. But is more commonly equipped with extra gear to boost that attack of his )
Swords Dance is that piece to the puzzle as he is a knight. Flame Charge is also symbolizing his special skill that he would charge at you with a shield. Then I gave him STAB, and Earthquake.

Wynter (Cacturne) (F) @ Choice Specs
Role: Witch
Trait: Sand Veil
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Giga Drain
- Dark Pulse
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Wynter was noted for having so-so speed, crazy beast power, and a really convenient life draining attack.
Wynter was also noted for basically trading her soul for the powers of dark magic, by the way.
So here is my witch! Giga Drain matches that crazy beast draining attack, while Dark Pulse is STAB and symbolizes the fact that she traded her soul for dark magic. The rest is coverage.

Eduardo (Ninjask) (M) @ Focus Sash
Role: Bard
Trait: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Protect
- Swords Dance
- Baton Pass
- X-Scissor
I have to open up with Eduardo's life story, told when you go to adopt him into your team of fighters.
" A traveling ministrel who inspires courage in all who hear his music. It is said he was once a Prince, but fate robbed him of both his kingdom, and his one true love. He fights so that others will not suffer as he has. "
Anyway. Focus Sash is not only good for the pokemon it's being used on, but it also symbolizes that he focuses on his fighting and music to stop thinking of his past. He was noted in the game for having his basic attack be powering up his team mate's fightin' power. So I made him a baton passer.

Heleth (Flareon) (F) @ Toxic Orb
Role: Paladin
Trait: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Fire Fang
- Wish
- Facade
- Substitute
The paladin had defensive values, healing values, and offensive values.
The shining light that everyone who plays battleheart seems to want to use.
Everybody SHOULD want to use Flareon!
Wish can support team mates, or yourself for that matter. Fire Fang is STAB, Facade does tons of damage with Toxic Orb + Guts. Substitute is what I use to hide if I can sub up on a switch, but you'll be switching a lot with Flareon, so Protect is also note worthy. It actually might be better.
