Suggestions for my NEW Sun team.

Here it is:

Ninetales

Ninetales @ Choice Specs
Trait: Drought
EVs: 252 SpA/ 2 SpD/ 252 Spe
Timid Nature (+Spd,-Atk)

  • Overheat
  • Energy Ball
  • Flamethrower
  • Hidden Power Ground

Ninetales is THE choice to make for Sun teams. If you take Groudon, your team becomes Uber, where your Sun team doesn't really stand a chance. Drought is for opening, setting up the Sun. Overheat is a great Fire type move and hits hard with the Sun. Energy Ball is for the coverage. Flamethrower is more reliable than Overheat and hits also hard because of the weather condition. HP Ground is for coverage against Rock types.

Heatran

Heatran @ Air Balloon
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Def/ 250 SAtk/ 2 SDef/ 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd,-Atk)

  • Magma Storm
  • Earth Power
  • Flash Cannon
  • Stone Edge

Heatran is the only Legendary Pokemon on my team, since i am not allowed to have more than one Legendary on my team ( A challenge i gave to myself). I love Heatran and all his resistances, but he has a 4x weakness against Ground types. That's why Air Balloon is there. Magma Storm is STAB and traps the foe, which i love. Earth Power is good against Fire types that try to obliterate Heatran. Flash Cannon is for STAB and hits well. Stone Edge is a fill-up move because i didn't know what to put.

CastformSunny

Castform @ Life Orb
Trait: Forecast
EVs: 4 HP/ 252 SpA/ 252 Spe
Timid Nature (+Spd,-Atk)

  • Future Sight
  • SolarBeam
  • Flamethrower
  • Weather Ball

Yay, Castform! He is kind of rare in Sun teams so i decided to use him. Future Sight is a really good attack and it can hit Dark types, even though it is a Psychic attack. In B/W, they lowered it's power and accuracy a bit but it is still strong. SolarBeam is perfect with the weather condition and someone in my team had to have it. Flamethrower is for STAB and hits hard with the Sun. Weather Ball is Castform's signature attack and i cannot stand keeping it aside.

Victreebel

Victreebel @ Life Orb
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 160 Atk/ 96 SAtk/ 252 Spd
Mild Nature (+SAtk,-Def)

  • Sucker Punch
  • Leaf Blade
  • Sludge Bomb
  • HP Fire

Victreebel... I prefer him from Venusaur! Chlorophyll is to boost his Speed in the Sun and Sucker Punch is for priority, which is always an advantage and it hits hard on Psychic types that are super-effective on him. Leaf Blade is one of my favorite Grass attacks and it's STAB on Victreebel. Sludge Bomb is STAB and it can poison the foe. HP Fire gains a bit of power with the weather.

Claydol

Claydol @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
Bold Nature (+Def,-Atk)

  • Rapid Spin
  • Stealth Rock
  • Earthquake
  • Ice Beam

Claydol is one of my favorite Pokemon and he is pretty strong. He helps the team get rid of annoying traps with Rapid Spin. He sets up Stealth Rock to damage the opponent a little and help his teamates KO the foe more easily. Earthquake is a very strong move, as usual.

Chandelure

Chandelure @ Choice Specs
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 14 HP/ 252 SAtk/ 242 Spe
Modest Nature (+SpA,-Atk)

  • Overheat
  • Shadow Ball
  • Energy Ball
  • Hidden Power Fighting

One of the greatest Ghost types of all time ( Let's not forget Gengar and Darkrai). Overheat gets a boost from the Sun, the Choice Specs and maybe even from his ability. Shadow Ball is STAB and is the best Ghost move you can get. Energy Ball is for coverage against Water types and HP Fighting is against annoying Dark types that can OHKO Chandelure.

Feel free to change any Pokemon moves, EVs, or even the Pokemon itself. I can take any kind of critics except getting insulted without any meaningful reason. Thank you in advancw! Shroom :D

Ninetales (F) @ CHoice Specs
Trait: Drought
252 SpAtk / 252 Spe / 4 SpDef
Calm Nature (+SpDf - Def)
Moves:
 •Overheat
 •Flamethrower
 •Energyball
•??? not HP Ground since energyball already covers that. Maybe SolarBeam?
Ok, SolarBeam should be good :D
Instead of Overheat on Chandelure, I would give him Flamethrower. Overheat would lower his special attack.
