PokeBase Meta Battle Subway - RMT

Rate my new Wifi team Pokemon Black

0 votes

I posted this question earlier, but I can't seem to find it anymore.

This is my first time to actually finish a Pokemon game, and I put this team for future Wifi battles. Would like to know if it would be worthwhile to train all of my pokemon and eventually build the team.

-Serperior (Gentle) @ Shell Bell
EVs: 252 Special Attack, 252 Defense, 4 HP

Overgrow
Toxic
Giga Drain
Calm Mind
Iron Tail

-Hydreigon (Brave) @ Choice Band
EVs: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP

Levitate
Flame Thrower
Draco Meteor
Earthquake
Dark Pulse

-Volcarona (Hardy) @ not sure yet, any suggestions?
EVs: 252 Special Attack, 128 Special Defense, 4 Defense

Flame Body
Bug Buzz
Flame Thrower
Quiver Dance
Hidden Power: Grass

-Jellicent (Docile) @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 Special Defense, 252 HP, 4 Defense

*Water Absorb
Shadow Ball
Scald
Confuse Ray
Recover

-Weavile (Serious) @ Not sure yet
EVs: 252 Attack, 232 Speed, 24 Defense

Pressure
Sword Dance
Night Slash
Brick Break
Ice Punch

-Tyranitar (Quirky) @ Not sure yet
EVs: 252 Attack, 248 Speed, 8 Defense

Sand Stream
Stone Edge
Eathquake
Crunch
Fire Punch

  • I am still uncertain about my last pokemon, been considering Tyranitar, but I wouldn't want his sandstorm to hurt my team. Another option I thought about was Umbreon, simply because he's my favourite pokemon really..any other opinion?

Umbreon's Theoretical Moveset once I actually get one: @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 Special Defense, 208 HP, 48 Defense

Synchronise or Inner Focus, don't really care at the moment, its UMBREON!
Curse
Moonlight
Payback
Substitute

Thank you

Keep it ^_^! umbreon is a greatly annoying pokemon and with that moveset even better.
use the curse on a ghost opponent so that you can get some side line damage done...

...serperior is cool, and iron tail is a good coverage to ice types...

... Hydregions flamethrower is good but teach it something like dragon pulse instead of draco meteor. you can use dragon pulse many more times and it works with the special attack...

...umm, ok. instead of volcarona, why not try darmantian. it learns awesome moves like hammer arm on really early levels. FLAMETHROWER, HAMMER ARM, ROCK SLIDE, ROLLOUT...

...jellicent is ready and good to go and the moves are good coverages plus recovery...

...and last but not least tyranitar. i would personally go for a nidoking instead as it learns toxic spikes...

... weaville, up to you to take out which ever team member you want but not umbreon ok.

out of all i would give these ideas 9/10 and good luck with your wifi battles!

Umm, Volcarona can learn better moves than Darmanitan. Volcarona gets things like Fiery Dance, Bug  Buzz, Quiver Dance, Hurricane, and other attacks, while Darmanitan doesn't. And Flamethrower is really bad on Darmanitan as well.
This isn't so much advice as opinion. And, no offense, some of those replacement move set's aren't very good. Though you bring up a couple good points, its more opinion then advice.
What would be his "good points" then? @Rio
