PokeBase Meta Battle Subway - RMT

How can I improve my OU team?

0 votes

Pretty much self explanatory...

- Curse
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Avalanche
Item Attached: Ice Gem
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)

Swampert is an amazing Stealth Rock opener. After laying down some rocks, he can wall by using curse. He is a defensive beast. He pretty much wrecks all dragons, which means Hydreigon can safely destroy.

- Spikes
- Power Whip
- Gyro Ball
- Leech Seed
Item Attached: Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)

Ferrothorn can wall like no other and coupled with Swampert, these two are the perfect dual-lead. He can take anything aimed at pretty much the entire team.

- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Surf
- Flamethrower
Item Attached: Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

I love this guy. His coverage is amazing, and he scares off everyone with 383 SAtk. He absorbs attacks aimed at Scizor/Ferrothorn and Infernape. And he kills stuff. Special Sweepers FTW!

-Stone Edge
-Grass Knot
-Close Combat
Item Attached: Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 128 Atk / 128 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)

Infernape is my mixed sweeper. He takes down SkarmBliss and bulky waters like Swampert, Jellicent, etc...

-Ice Beam
Item Attached: Absorb Bulb / Leftovers (What do you guys think?)
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)

When Jellicent and Swampert are coupled, well it's like (IMO) a better SkarmBliss. Yeah, status and um attacking, so yeah....

- Superpower
- U-Turn
- Pursuit
- Bullet Punch
Item Attached: Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

Scizor is an amazing closer. Base 135 priority? Yes please! He is the best revenge killer. Ever.

No Waterfall hmmm a guess thats alright unless you start off against a Moltres/Charizard but S-rock+Avalanche can take care of them.

Excellent but I would use Curse instead of Leech seed but thats up to you.

I HATE Choice sets but it is ok Switch out after Draco meteor obviously

Amazingly Grass types beat you Torterra(Who can take an Overheat and destroy with E-quake), Sceptile(Revenge kills easily after you have your overheat weakened and taken damage), My suggestion Flamethrower.

Great but I prefer Confuse ray not Water spout and Scald not Will-o-wisp thus adding cofusion. Leftovers

Switch Super power for the reliable Brick break

Who is going to lead with Moltres/ Zard in OU?
I know just saying
Scald only burns 30% of the time... And who uses sceptile and torterra in ou anyway?
Haha, Scald only burns 30% of the time. That's pretty nice, with only 10 or 5 less base power than surf. Also, It saves a moveslot so you don't have to put Surf and Will-o-Wisp.
15 less base power.. hex or shadow ball?
Who votes this down? It's not a bad answer...
