I need help to defeat the 3rd Gym Leader, who is also my tutor. He will be using Grass types, so he has the type advantage since Grass resists to Electric.

Rotom-H @ Choice Specs
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk/ 252 Spd/ 4 SDef
Timid Nature (+Spd,-Atk)
- Overheat
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power Ice
- Trick
Ok, i chose Specs because i needed the extra-power. Overheat will destroy his puny Grass types while Volt Switch is for switching. No need for coverage so i went with HP Ice. Why? Because i'm sure he will be using Torterra, who can KO my Electric types with Earthquake. HP Ice will destroy him and his other fellow Grass types who resist to Overheat. Trick is to screw up walls such as Tangrowth.

Electivire @ Expert Belt
Trait: Vital Spirit
EVs: 224 Spd/ 144 Atk/ 144 SAtk
Naive Nature (+Spe,-SDef)
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake
Electivire is holding Expert Belt so Flamethrower can do more damage. Thunderbolt is STAB and Flamethrower is for those Grass types. Ice Punch is for the Grass types that resist Flamethrower and Earthquake does neutral damage on Roserade. He is a counter to Breloom as he resists Spore with Vital Spirit.

Thundurus-T @ Life Orb
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 SAtk/ 252 Spd/ 4 HP
Timid Nature (+Spd,-Atk)
- Agility
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Flying
- Focus Blast
I am disappointed because this guy has Flying STAB but doesn't have any good Flying moves. That would've helped me grandly. Though Fly could be considered, since it's a Mono-type Gym. Even if he switches, he will always have someone who is part-Grass type, doing neutral damage or super-effective damage. The problem is that Fly is physical and that Thundurus-T lacks of Special Flying moves. One Agility and Thundurus-T will outspeed almost everybody. Thunderbolt is decent STAB and HP Flying is STAB and is for those Grass types. Focus Blast is coverage against Rock and Ice types.

Magnezone @ Air Balloon
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SAtk/ 220 Spd/ 36 HP
Timid Nature (+Spd,-Atk)
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Fire
- Charge Beam
Magnezone can resist to so many attacks and cannot be poisoned. That is why he is here. Substitute + Charge Beam is a good combo, raising Magnezone's Special Attack. Thunderbolt is STAB and HP Fire hits Ferrothorn and the others real hard.

Zebstrika @ Choice Band
Trait: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spd/ 4 HP
Adamant Nature (+Atk,-SAtk)
- Wild Charge
- Flame Charge
- Pursuit
- Double Kick
Ok, this is a very unusual moveset. But Sap Sipper raises his Attack and absorbs those Grass attacks. Wild Charge is STAB and Flame Charge hits Grass types for super-effective damage and Pursuit is for those who want to escape from Zebstrika's reign of terror. Double Kick is just a filler.

Zapdos @ Life Orb
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 SAtk/ 252 Spd/ 4 Def
Timid Nature (+Spd,-Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Heat Wave
- Hidden Power Ice
- Roost
Last Pokemon. Same typing as Thundurus-T. Pressure instead of Lightningrod because Kyron will never use any Electric moves on my team. Thunderbolt is STAB and Heat Wave hits those puny Grass types hard. HP Ice is for Torterra and those who resist Heat Wave. Roost is for healing.
Hope you guys like my team! I accept any kind of good advice.
