Hai there. I just got my second gym badge with this team, so I figured now would be a good time to upload it. It's been giving me great performances - I've been easily maintaining a positive W:L ratio on PO. Also, it's helped me win against quite a few people on this site (Gigaslash, JCM, Riles), thanks for the battles guys :D anyway, let's go!

(M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Icicle Crash
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard

Piloswine is great. He's really bulky with Eviolite, and can hit hard too. He sets up Stealth Rock, which supports my team and helps me get more KOs. Icicle Crash and Earthquake are STAB and get amazing coverage in NU. Ice Shard helps fix his poor speed and can potentially save my team from being swept.

(M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Lightningrod
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 Def
Modest Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast
- Volt Switch

Ah, my favourite. Raichu. This is on my PU team as well, and it works great. He can act as a revenge killer, scout, and a lategame sweeper. I run Modest, as he outruns most things anyway, and he needs some extra power. Thunderbolt is obvious STAB. HP Ice and Focus Blast for near-perfect coverage. Volt Switch helps me scout and often turns the momentum in my favour, keeping constant pressure on my opponent. I mainly run Raichu over Electabuzz just for Lightningrod, as I love those Special Attack boosts.

(M) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Toxic Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Facade
- Close Combat
- Night Slash
- Quick Attack

Zangoose, another member of my PU team, makes a return. If I'm honest, he's almost too powerful for NU. He's my heavy hitter, and usually gets at least 2-3 kills a match. With a Toxic Orb, his ability, and STAB, his Facade is mindblowingly powerful. Close Combat is for coverage against Rock and Steel types. Night Slash hits Ghosts. Quick Attack is powerful priority, and lets me revenge kill something while my Toxic Orb activates.

(F) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Clear Smog
- Sludge Bomb
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

I <3 Weezing. Seriously. This guy is on all of my teams up to UU. He's also my most reliable check to the common Sawk. Will-O-Wisp cripples most physical attackers. Sludge Bomb is good STAB, and lets me finish off weakened opponents. Clear Smog is necessary to prevent things setting up on me, and Pain Split is semi-reliable recovery - it's better than nothing I guess.

(F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Water Veil
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Waterfall
- Crunch
- Ice Punch
- Switcheroo

I've been testing Floatzel out recently, and he works pretty well. Choice Band with an Adamant nature lets him hit really hard, because his speed is already good enough for NU. Waterfall is obvious STAB. Crunch and Ice Punch give me all the coverage I really need. Lastly, Switcheroo is a nasty surprise for physical walls that like to switch in on me. Water Veil, while often overlooked, lets me avoid burns from Misdreavus and the like.

(F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 8 HP / 148 Def / 136 SDef / 216 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Encore
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Sleep Powder

Jumpluff is such a troll :3 Encore stops people doing any status or set up shenanigans, and can usually force a switch. Then I set up a sub, and begin my Leech Seeding antics xP Also, Sleep Powder, with the Gen V sleep mechanics, can pretty much cripple an opposing pokemon for the rest of the game.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed my RMT, please come again ;D

Ok, i was supposed to comment-rate this but watch how this works. I give an answer on the first impression that i get from this team while Trachy makes a counter team and gives an answer based on the after-battle impression.

Piloswine

You're going with a rare jewel here. An Offensive S-Rock Lead as in Piloswine. That's the first i ever saw and i have to say.... Impressive! Nothing to change.

Raichu

Raichu..... He's a good Pokemon but he's as frail as an epileptic platypus with diabetes. Meaning that giving him EVs in Defense won't change much. Change those 4 EVs to HP, giving him more overall bulk. You could replace Volt Switch for HP Ice. More Coverage :D
That's what i use, anyways.

Zangoose

The set is good but you're missing 4 EVs, preferably in Defense. You could also go with a Swords Dance set, removing Quick Attack/ Night Slash. I also have a replacement for Zangoose. You could try Belly Drum Linoone instead of him.

Linoone (M) @ Sitrus Berry
Trait: Gluttony
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- ExtremeSpeed
- Belly Drum
- Shadow Claw
- Seed Bomb

Maybe that could work?

Weezing

I see you're going with the Physical Tank Weezing. Good job on him but i would give him a different EV spread. Try 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 SAtk. He will get 2KO'ed by a STAB Special Attack even with the Special Defense investment.

Floatzel

Your Floatzel set is pretty good and i like the idea of Water Veil. Though, note that Ice Punch and Switcheroo are illegal together as it is impossible to get both on the same Floatzel.

Jumpluff

And the fun starts. At the end. Your Jumpluff is used as an annoyer but i have an annoyer bigger than him..... Wait for it......

Wynaut

Wynaut!!!! He's cute and annoying! Just like Jumpluff. Here's the recommended set for him:

Wynaut @ Eviolite
Trait: Shadow Tag
EVs: 208 Spd/ 152 Def/ 148 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def,-Atk)

  • Encore
  • Mirror Coat
  • Counter
  • Tickle

No description needed.

I am terrible at Importable Copies so i won't make one. I think i covered most of the stuff but Trachy should give a more in-depth answer. Hope i helped you!

Thanks very much JCM! :D The suggestions were great, I will try out Wynaut immediately :3 Also, I believe, with the BW2 move tutors, Floatzel can have Switcheroo and Ice Punch together. PO doesn't seem to mind, anyway. xD
Oh, thanks! I am so happy i helped :D
Those 4 EVs on raichu made all the difference.
