Can I set up hazards and weather at the same time in battle?

Okay, so what I mean is...if I set up, say, Stealth Rock, and I switched to a Pokemon with Samdstorm and used Sandstorm, would it work? Is it possible to keep both weather and hazards up at once for ultimate damage to the opponent?

Well, sorry, but I wanted to make absolutely sure before I posted a team with both hazards and weather so that I didn't look horribly stupid.
