So in the first generation we can move Pokemon to gens IV and V, that is Gen III, there are 5 games, Ruby & Sapphire, FireRed & LeafGreen, and Emerald. In Gen IV, there are also 5 games, Diamond & Pearl, Platinum, and HeartGold SoulSilver. And now in Gen V it has restarted the pattern from Gen III. What could this mean? And I don't want the usual "GameFreak wanted it that way." answer.

If I'm correct ever since gen III they've made remakes. Firered and leaf green for the original red and green. Also when they made the new games they made a three way series since gen II.They continued the pattern into gen IV when they created the three way sinnoh series and the gen II remakes of gold and silver surprisingly leaving out crystal. In gen V there was no three way game instead 2 games and direct sequels. According to all these patterns hoenn is making a comeback in gen V.

Ok. That was my thinking. I was thinking that there might be another Gen V game. I was also thinking it was goint to be a Crystal or Emeral remake.
Crystal probably isn't going to get a remake because it already had a chance but emerald is very possible.
