While in my opinion one of the most important Pokemon in the metagame, he isn't incredible enough to be Uber. He is a great Overused though.

i agree, this guy is the lead on my team, his mixed earthquake and rock slide seems to beet anything in RU and NU, he seems more like a boarderline, even so, his speed in trick room makes him the fastest, toughest sweeper in NU. just my two cents.

Your basic Sandstorm tank. Your SP Def is raised by Sandstorm, so now just focus on defense. After a few Curses, Gigalith will be very hard to take down, plus it will be able to KO with ease along with Sand Force. Earthquake, Stone Edge, and Heavy Slam all have high base power when used by Gigalith, especially after a Sand Force boost. Leftovers is there to heal you.

I can't really get him on dream world becuase it takes way too long, my bro got 3 lickytounges in a row!
I didn't want to risk getting the same pokemon over and over, he nearly got 4 but he turned the fouth down lol.
so, i only have stursy ones, anyone got a good move set for that? no toxic eaither please.

Gigalith has great attack and defense. Its hidden ability Sand Force, ups attack during sandstorm. Much better than the (almost) useless Sturdy.

Since attack can be raised by ability, put the EVs into Special Defense and HP to bring them level with Defense. Then use a typical wall move set.

Ability: Sand Power; nature to boost Attack.

• Sandstorm (obviously!)
• Toxic
• Earthquake
• Explosion or Stone Edge

Stone Edge gets STAB but it doesn't cover many types and is inaccurate. There are LOADS of other options too. Weakness: Gengar, if you don't have Stone Edge, since it resists Explosion and Earthquake.

No, all moves that would make it faint in one hit. So if Surf was to defeat it ordinarily, Sturdy would make it have 1 HP. Still not that great, but better than before.

nah you need a pokemon that can last a few turns besides using sandstorm would waste too much time.

i would agree, sturdy allows for a powerful opening, you caan only be killed if they get very lucky with a burn or poison on their attacks, however even those types pail against gigaliths defensive stats, he has low special defence so i ev'd it, and left sturdy on him, works OK but HP may have been a better option.

A physical behemoth, slow, powerful, and can take a hit just like the Behemoth in mythology.

Ability: Sand Strength

EVs: Defense, Attack, Sp. Def Nature: Adament

Moveset: Same as Pokemaster, although I would rather have both Earthquake and Stone Edge, seeing as Sand Strength is likely going to increase their power. So no Explosion.And then no Gengar to worry about also.

Is their any move or item that can increase his special defence? this guy needs max evs in defence to gain full potential as a tank, but I also gave him 252 in attack, now hes dead meat to special attacks, I don't want to have to re-train a perfect level 70 pokemon again.

Any clue on raising his special defence? (no batton pass please)

Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

A beast for sure.
Sand Force can be used when some sort of tyranitar come in or something, but it's highly recommended to use gigalith in sandstorm.
Stone Edge gets a base power 150, if used in sandstorm with sand force ability, 195 POWA: NICE.
Heavy Slam Gigalith is heavy, so this will do a good amount of damage, it's boosted by ability and can get a nice base power of 156, also nice.
Earthquake boosted by ability, a fresh base power of 130.
Explosion and Curse are both good options!
Custap Berry and exlplosion is a nice last resort, a nice surprise!
Curse can be used to boost Gigalith's stats.

Why does he set up his own sand? Let's see.

1. Jacks up special defense
2. Slowly kills opponents
3. Increases power of all of his attacks

so with that in mind, here's the set.

Sandstorm sets things up. Sand force gives him extra power to all three of his attacks and.... he makes magic. gotta love this rock type.

Here's My Gigalith, with some awesome sacrificing strategy combo:

Adamant Nature
Abilty: Sturdy
Item: Custap Berry

EVs: 252 Atk 252 HP 4 Def

-Stone Edge STAB
-Earthquake Coverage, compliments with Stone Edge as the Edgequake Combo
-Explosion The Final Kaboom when down to just (25%) or even 1 HP for sweet revenge when Custap Berry is Used
-Curse Boosts Atk. & Def at the expense of Speed

Okay, so this set is the bomb, literally, So you have Stone Edge and Earthquake, practically the best Combo to beat a lot of different types, and you have Curse to boost your Attack and Defense, and let's not forget, Explosion, the Revenge Kill that can actually work by using Custap Berry which lets Gigalith move (regardless of Speed), so it can take down an opponent to make the item worth using as a great sacrificing strategy.

So you probably already know how this works >:} Switch into a super-effective attack, then use Explosion! TROL And ahem Stone Edge and Earthquake are for apredicted ghost and steel types respectively.
