Ability: Flash fire, switch this guy in on an obvious fire.

Item:Life orb

Ev's: 252 sp.atk 252.def 4 speed

Shadow ball (Main stab ghost)
Flamethrower/Fire blast/Inferno (Your choice of stab, it's accuracy or power or decent damage and burn but low accuracy.
Energy ball (Coverage for water,ground,rock,fire)
Hp Ice/fighting or Calm mind to raise it's amazing sp.atk and give some sp.def

First of all, great pokemon. Except for his numerous weaknesses, most of which can be covered with a single move type. Only one type weakness cannot be covered with Chandelure's movepool - dark type. You'll just have to switch out or somehow power through or hinder that type.

• Will o' Wisp - Burn the enemy with continuous damage and lower their Atk. (with the exception of pokemon with the ability Guts). Considering the fact that dark-type moves mostly inflict physical damage (with the exception of moves like Dark Pulse), this move may be invaluable. Many pokemon can learn dark-type moves, which happens to be the one type not able to be covered in Chandelure's movepool.
• Energy Ball - Covers three of Chandelure's five weaknesses (Rock, Ground, Water), with 80 Sp.Atk. and 100 accuracy. Therefore, if you choose to do so, you may switch the Leftovers for an item that increases Grass-type moves (Meadow Plate, Miracle Seed).
• Hex - Strategically, this is better than Shadow Ball. The oppenent may already be burned by your Will o' Wisp, so it's 50 Sp.Atk. will be doubled, surpassing Shadow Ball's 80 Sp.Atk. They both have 100 accuracy.
• Flamethrower - I would prefer this over Heat Wave, Fire Blast, and Inferno. With 95 Sp.Atk., 100 accuracy, and 15 PP, this would be preferable. Heat Wave has only 5 more Sp.Atk., and is 10% less accurate, and 5 less PP. Fire Blast may have 120 Sp.Atk., but only 5 PP total, and only 85 accuracy. Inferno may burn the target, but then, we already have Will o' Wisp. Furthermore, it only has 50 accuracy (ouch), and only 5 more Sp.Atk.

This move set can be used effectively, and is also versatile. It makes up for Chandelure's short comings and can also screw your opponent over. It may look familiar, though...

Chandelure has decent defenses and stellar Special Attack, but low Speed. That combination screams Choice Scarf to me; this guy is like a Specail Darminitan.
Simple: hit hard with STAB attacks or pound cocky Rock, Ground, and/or Water types. Trick anyone who dares set up, of they survive.
*Chamdelure is immune to BOTH of Ferrothorn's weaknesses, so pairing the two is a good combination as Ferrothorn resist all of its weaknesses.

I think Chandelure has become my new favorite sweeper. With the highest base S Attack ever seen, Next to Mewtwo and Deoxys-A, he can OHKO nearly anyone.
I have mine on a sun team, so keep in mind he's coupled with my Drought Groudon

Ability: flame body (flash fire would probablly be better, but I've trained him for so long that I'm not willing to change him)
EVs: S Attack, Speed Nature: modest (who needs the attack?)
Fire Blast: SUPER powerful STAB, low accuracy is compensated by his reasonable bulk
Shadow Ball: STAB, covers his Ghost weakness
Solarbeam: W/ sun, doesn't charge AND has a base power of 120
Physic: KILLS Fighting types
I absolutely love this guy; he gets effective/neutral coverage against nearly every type, and he's powerful has all heck.
