I think she has potential as a special tank.

A bit different, but I like the unexpected.

Suggested nature:Quiet (+ special attack, -speed) (only for the first set)

Trick Room-with all these new speedy pokemon, this move can decimate sweepers.

Psychic-a nice STAB move

Dark Pulse-Covers that ghost weakness

Hidden power [fire]/Thunderbolt/Calm mind-Hp covers you against bug types, which are gaining more power. Thunderbolt is a nice unexpected move, and calm mind lets you boost her special stats.

DT, you can post different movesets as separate answers if you like, then people can vote them separately.
Also, for your dual screener, I'd suggest using Dark Pulse so that you don't have any immunities.
As separate sets? No problem!

Dual screener:

Light screen-more special coverage.

Reflect-More physical coverage, plus, there's not much a chance of somebody using brick break, since she's a psychic type, and it won't do much.

Psychic/Dark pulse-STAB, in case she must attack. Or dark pulse if you don't want immunities.

Wall set:

Mean look-Trap in foe.

Toxic-slowly drain out foe.

Protect/Light screen/Reflect- Major stalling

Psychic-Deal with taunters, helps do more damage.

I like the idea of a wall, but it wastes that nice special attack.

If you can get Shadow Tag you don't need Mean Look.
Good point, though note that this was posted before I knew what the dream world abilities were going to be.

I don't know what is good with this set. Trick only rapes Walls...
I never said it was bad. I just don't know why Trick is there. And the term ''rape'' was from his description...... I would prefer an all-offensive set. It's just a matter of opinion....
....... Ok?

Mew, I think I've used this before.

Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: A little in SpDef, then the rest into SpAtk and HP.
Gochiruzeru has lower HP to EVs in that boosts defences better. She will be taking both Physical (Bug/Dark) and Special (Ghost/Dark) attacks.

  • Psychic (obviously)
  • Shadow Ball (covers Fighting, which Dark Pulse does not)
  • Thunderbolt (covers more types like Steel)
  • Reflect (to boost physical defense)

A Pokemon who looks to be incredible. I expect great things to come from this person. As long as it comes from Dream World that is.

Ability: Shadow Tag (makes Mean Look quite useless)

EVs: Defense, Sp Def, Sp Attack Nature: Quiet

Trick Room: With such horrid speed, this is needed. And now the foe is trapped in the Trick Room. They are now doomed.

Charm: The foe isn't going anywhere, so you should feel safe lowering their stats.

Psychic: STAB.

Energy Ball: Type coverage.

Nature: Timid

EVs: 252 Speed, 252 SA, 4HP

Psychic: Yep..

Dark Pulse: Uh-Hu.

Calm Mind: Raisin Stat Time.

Energy Ball/Thunderbolt/Shadow Ball/Charm: Whatever you want.

untested but here's an annoyer set

Ability: Shadow Tag
Item: Leftovers

Tunder Wave chance of being paralyzed and lowers speed
Attract chance of being immolbilized by love
Swagger chance of hitting itself in confusion and raises foes attack to cause greater damage to themselves
Confusion/Pound STAB with chance to confuse or weaker attack( explained below)

Between paralysis, being infatuated, and confusion, your probably never gonna get hit once you've set up, then just nick away at your foe while you recover with leftovers if you took damage before and slowly kill ur foe while they're helpless to stop you. pound is probably better for this since it does less damage thanks to Gothitelle's low attack stat which gives you more time to recover with leftovers

I would love to have TUNDER Wave....

Gothitelle @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Shadow Tag
EVs: 252 SAtk / 158 Def / 100 SDef OR 100 HP
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Trick
- Calm Mind
- Hidden Power [Fighting]/Thunderbolt
- Psychic/Psyshock

This set is specifically made to counter sweepers that need to set up. Gothitelle uses Trick to pass off its Choice Scarf as the other Pokemon uses its set up move. Your opponent is now stuck - unable to switch out but unable to do any damage to you either. Gothitelle can then spam Calm Mind until it's at full, then it can be a devastating force on the offensive. Psychic/Psyshock are pretty much definite - powerful STAB moves with the boosts from Calm Mind - but you could replace the other move slot with Shadow Ball. The reason I don't recommend doing this is because Gothitelle should have a move that can hit Dark types for, at least, neutral damage. With the EVs, since it gets the boost in SDef from Calm Mind you don't really need the SDef EVs, so you can put the 100 into HP instead. However, I recommend it with 100 SDef EVs, just in case you don't get the opportunity to set up with Calm Mind.
