If my slaking gets put to sleep, do turns still get wasted by truant?

As you probably all know, it takes 2-3 turns to wake up from sleep. Does it take a Pokemon with truant 4-6 or 2-3?

Well, it sleeps normally, and will start the Traunt process when it wakes up.
