VoltSwitch- To get your ass out of there

I actually like this guy. Not as good as Zapdos, but I like it. While the stats are not high enough to be Underused, he is good in Neverused.

Ability: Motor Drive

EVs: Speed, Sp Attack, Attack Nature: Hasty

Electra Ball: WOrks great with its ability and moves.

Agility: Makes Electra Ball better.

Thunder Wave/Encore: Possibly makes Electra Ball better, but either way paralyzes the foe. If it doesn't make Electra Ball better, go with Encore.

U-Turn: In case you need to escape.

How about:

Iron tail/hidden power [fighting]-Both cover all of his weaknesses in one move.

Thunder wave-slows down foe...

Thunderbolt/Volt Change-He doesn't have time to set up for anything, so he just has to go in and attack. Volt change lets you switch out with STAB.

Air Slash-gives more type coverage.

Not the best pokemon. :(

Well I actually open with an emolga and his moveset is:

electro ball - an obvious choice to get stab and it compliments his amazing speed

acrobatics- you get stab and a great physical attack if you aren't holding an item

return - not often used but a decent move if you keep it with you

thunder - a great electric move

btw he is my highest level and can one hit most of the elite four.

My Emolga moveset, may not be the best but works for me.

Emolga (F) @ Focus Sash

- Agility/Roost
- Electro Ball

Start off with Protect, if the opponent uses power up move then use Encore on it.
May be forced to switch, so free chance to up your speed with Agility. When your speed is up a fair amount 1 hit them with a + 6 Electro ball, then just sweep from there!

Guess it depends if you want to use one as a Toxic Staller/ Baton Passer/ Sweeper. Emonga would function in an in game rain dance team too with Thunder, though there are probably better choices for competitive battling.

Emolga is pretty frail. I strong Ice or Rock Type move will spell doom for that flying squirrel.

Well, you would U-Turn/ Volt Switch/ Baton Pass to Emonga (if you were using one as a sweeper) after setting up various stat boosts/ conditions. If you're using one as a toxic staller, then Emonga just needs to fast enough (which she will be w/ 252 Spd EV), in addition to Roost.

well, my point was mild or rash, since Emolga has no defenses anyways... when switching out, you kinda want it to do a bit, not just scratch them and hope it does more damage than leftovers can recover...

i dont think u-turn will be used. seeing that the emolga has choice specs, it either kills or gets killed. u -turn is like a one time only deal; i cant use it more than once. it is JUST TO SWITCH, not to hurt.
