The Bliazzard (poor spelling on serebii's behalf, the actual classification, or possibly a mistake by GameFreak.) While it looks weird with that random ting sticking out of it, and the first form in the line looks like Castform, this guy is decent, and I had at one time considered him for my team.

Ability: Ice Body

EVs: Sp Attack, Sp Def, Def Nature: Calm

Hail: WIth healingdue to Ice Body, increasing the power of Blizzard by x1.5 and making it have 100% accuracy and more, plus increasing Sp Def by x1.5, this move has really gotten an upgrade this Gen.

Blizzard: Power increased by Hail, accuracy 100% in hail, and has a 25% chance of breaking through Protect and Detect in Hail. All this adds up to a damn powerful move, especially taking into acount the pretty nice Sp Attack stat.

Body Purge: Not only doubles Speed, but also makes this guy lighter. This provides better protection from Low Kick and Grass Knot. While you will take more damage from Heavy Bomber and Heat STamp, those moves are much less common than Low Kick and Grass Knot (especially Grass Knot.) However, the main point is the Speed boost.

Water Pulse/Flash Cannon: This is a tough choice. Water Pulse deals with Fire and Rock weakness, but has 20 less base power. Flash Cannon has 20 more base power, but only deals with Rock weakness. A very difficult choice.

What's body purge?
Body Purge is the Japanese name for "Autotomize"

Hail sweeper:

Suggested ability: Ice Body
Suggested Item: leftovers; life orb
Suggested Nature: Modest

  • Blizzard
  • Water Pulse
  • Hidden power [ground]
  • Autotomize/protect

Pretty basic idea here. He blasts the crap out of enemies with STAB Blizzard, can cover rock, fire, and steel with a single move, and can cover a few other pokemon with water pulse. You can either boost up his speed, or hold out for a few turns to restore his health while damaging your opponent.

Ben and Jerry's UU edition:

Suggested ability: Ice body
Suggested item: Leftovers
Suggested nature: Modest/Timid

Blizzard/Ice Beam

  • Blizzard/Ice Beam
  • Taunt
  • Light Screen/Water Pulse/Weather ball
  • hidden power [grass]

This is kind of an anti UU pokemon Vanilluxe. Blizzard and ice beam serve as STAB; use blizzard if you plan on having a hail team. Taunt prevents the opponent from setting up stealth rock, and severely injuring your Vanilluxe later. Light screen offers team support, and makes him even bulkier, water pulse takes out a few common guys like Arcanine. Weather ball can be used to shift the odds in your favor against other weather teams, but it's more situational. Hidden power grass prevents him from being screwed over by bulky waters like Milotic or Suicune.

Sun Sweeper?(Hope my cone doesn't melt)

Item: Leftovers
Ability: Ice-body
Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 S.Attack, 160 Speed, 98 Hp

Ice-beam
Weather-ball
HP(Ground)
Autotomize

Ice-beam is for STAB. Weather-ball is a strong Fire-type move in the Sun. HP(Ground) is for coverage. Autotomize boosts speed. Ice-body makes it so if the weather is change to Hail(Which is a possibility) you get healing.

Advice for readers: go for the Ice Rock if it's a hail team.

Nature : modest
Gender: can be boy or female
items: brightpowder
Special annoyer
moves:
. Hail
. frost breath
. mirror shot
. attract
.Attract cuts chance of being hit by 50% added with brightpowder and mirror shot lowering its accuracy even further.
.Frost Breath is for STAB plus 100% accuracy with hail and it always crits .
.Hail restores hp including a 1.5x normal damage and 1.5x sp. def. increase for vanilluxe.
. works well only pokemon with opposite genders and effective for wittling down tanks.
. good combo with another ice pokemon in double batttles.

1 HP sweeper

I know, I know, they aren't popular these days cause of hazards. But hear me out, please.

Perry's (Vanilluxe) @ Focus Sash
Vanilluxe
EVs: 252 SAtk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
Mild Nature (+ SAtk, - Def) or Modest (+SAtk, - Def)
Trait: Weak Armor

  • Ice Beam
  • Hidden Power [Ground]
  • Signal Beam
  • Ice Shard/Mirror Coat

A little suprise for those Physical guys. This swept half a team. Weak Armor will get you more Speed to Sweep. If you'd lika a 1-time use OHKO to any Special Attacker, Use Mirror Coat. If you want to revenge kill with STAB Priority Ice Shard, that's another viable option. Ice Beam is your main STAB. Hidden Power gets you coverage to Rock, Fire, and Steel- covering all its weaknesses except Fighting. Signal Beam kills Dark and Psychic.
