If you have a good competitive moveset for Reuniclus, post an answer below and upvote the best ones. Movesets for its pre-evolutions, if any, can also be shared on this thread.

Be sure to include full set details in your post, e.g. items, abilities, natures and EVs. Some detail, including the intended game mode for your set, is also appreciated. Access the full list of guidelines here.

In my country we say jelly:)
And your country ( JAPAN FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DONT KNOW) Is very sophisticated .....
Hasty??????????
NO NO NO NO. use trick room, works WAY better.
Quiet nature!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For the love of Arceus, it is a TRICK set. TRICK!!
I KNOW. Trick room, then trick. Duh, then start sweeping. And trick. 2 in 1.
I Like Jelly :)
Aliens these days don't find clothes so they wear jelly! C:
But then the alien will need new jelly all the time in case it gets hungry.
Dont invest EVs and nature into speed. Go for quiet nature, and stick with 252 sp Atk evs but spilt the rest equally between defenses. Then you can have a prankster pokemon on the team use trick room or set up your own trick room
If this is trick room, why the speed benefitting natures and evs? especially with the lagging tail, if you trick them, it makes them essentially faster in trick room. Focus blast is garbage, also, even if it isnt trick room, reuniclus has a base speed stat of 30, how would a lagging tail help you in any way with trick?
The post didn't mention any Trick Room things. It mentioned Trick, not Trick Room. Focus Blast isn't garbage most of the time because of coverage with Dark Types.

Reuniclus (F) @ Life Orb

Trait: Magic Guard

EVs: 176 HP / 80 Defense / 252 Sp.Atk

Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)

  • Psychic
  • Shadow Ball
  • Focus Blast
  • Trick Room

Starting off with some nice STAB with Psychic, Shadow Ball is for ghost type weakness as well as other psychics, Focus Blast hits hard on them dark types as well as annoying steel types. and Trick Room takes advantage of low speed.

250 in both defenses, 400 Hp, decent enough Spec Attack which is 288. I love it. Favourite tank.

National Dex

Reuniclus @ Electrium Z / Life Orb / Psychium Z / Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature

  • Psyshock / Stored Power
  • Thunder / Focus Blast
  • Calm Mind
  • Recover

Psyshock is STAB that does a lot to Special walls and SpDef boosters like Calm Min Clefable after a few boosts. You can use Psychium Z with Psyshock to get rid of PhysDef Tangrowth, remove Toxapex before it hazes away Calm Mind boosts, smack Kartana if you use Thunder over Focus Blast, and hit Slowbro for some good damage if you forego Thunder for Focus Blast. Reuniclus's tendency to set up more than once on the meta's passive mons means Stored Power can definitely be used. It still deals with Blissey, after all. Thunder is coverage for the Slow twins, and can land paralysis on Psychic move switch-ins like Mega Latias, Heatran, Corviknight, and Tyranitar. If you want, you can power it up into Electrium Z to do more damage to the Steels and Tyranitar as well as not miss. Focus Blast is an option for destroying Tyranitar and non-Corviknight Steels as well as denting PhysDef Tangrowth if you're running Psyshock, at the cost of being checked by the Slow twins. Calm Mind is set up, Recover is for healing and to be able to use Calm Mind more throughout a match.

Duosion

Duosion @ Eviolite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 152 Def / 104 SpD
Bold Nature
- Pain Split
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Thunder Wave

Everyone underestimates this little guy, but he can work wonders if used correctly. Start off with a thunder wave to cut the opponents speed, then use light screen/reflect (depending on the opponent). After setting up both light screen and reflect, use plain split, and switch out into a set up sweeper (maybe azumarill or slurpuff who now has boosted defences due to light screen).

Trick Room Mixed Sweeper

Reuniclus @ Life Orb
Nature: Brave (+Atk/ -Spd)
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Atk/ 130 SpAtk/ 126 HP)

  • Trick Room
  • Drain Punch
  • Shadow Ball/ Recover/ Hidden Power [Fire]
  • Psychic/ Zen Headbutt

Trick Room is the body and blood of the Pokémon. Drain Punch is coverage against Steel and Dark types (plus healing) and Blissey slaying. Shadow Ball is coverage against Ghost and Psychic types, recover is stalling (not most recommended) and Hidden Power [Fire] is coverage against bug types. Psychic and Zen Headbutt are STAB, but if you think Reuniclus needs more coverage you can swap them for one of the moves in the third row.

Duosion (M) @ Eviolite

Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 142 Def / 116 SDef
Bild Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Shock Wave
- Confuse Ray
- Infestation
- Recover

Details/strategy:
This guy is incredibly annoying! Start off with Shock Wave and paralyze your opponent, then you'll be able to out-speed most enemies. Continue by confusing your enemy with Confuse Ray, then trap them with Infestation and keep using Recover/Infestation and use Confuse Ray again if necessary. If your opponent switches out before you can trap his pokémon, just keep trying to set up. If you notice that you won't be able to survive by spamming Recover, switch out and thanks to Regenerator you'll be able to use him again later.

Usually your opponent won't expect the Infestation trap, so this set works pretty well. Naturally it won't work that well on electric & ground types and Magic Bounce pokémon because you won't be able to paralyze them.

JELLO SET

@Leftovers
Nature: Calm
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP/252 SAtk
Moveset:
Recover - Need I say why?
Calm Mind - Set up for the amazing sweep
Psychic - STABBBB
Trick Room - this thing is slow so this will probably help

by

Your only attack is a ghost-type move, so any normal type could wall this and force a switch

While I myself have not tested all of these movesets, I have a friend who gave it a shot and sent me the link to view them. Anyway, here it is:

Reuniclus Moveset

You are going to want this on your Reuniclus no matter what its role on your team is:

Ability: Magic Guard

Moves:
Psychic: It's a no-brainer, I suggest upping its PP, though.

Focus Blast/Shadow Ball: Focus Blast gives Dark and Steel coverage, but means you have no moves effective against Psychic. Shadow Ball gives Steel and Psychic coverage, but no Dark coverage, meaning you'll have to switch out on a Dark type enemy.

Now this is where the set really changes based on how you're planning on using Reuniclus.

Trick Room Set:

Nature: Quiet

Item: Lagging Tail/Iron Ball/Full Incense

EVs: 252 SpA, 44 SpD, 216 Def

Trick Room: It's literally the point of your moveset and why you even have Reuniclus on your team.

Calm Mind/Shadow Ball/Focus Blast/Recover: Boost your sweeping ability, get coverage of more types, or increase your lifespan, your choice.

Support Set

Nature: Bold

Item: Light Clay/Mind Herb

EVs: 252 HP, 128 Def, 128 SpD

Light Screen/Reflect: Which defense stat is worse on your team overall? Choose the move that covers that.

Recover/Toxic/Thunderwave: Are you trying to stay alive or annoy the enemy? Thunderwave works best in Doubles/Triples, but can be used in Singles.

Sweeper Set

Nature: Modest

Item: Life Orb/Wide Glasses

EVs: 252 SpA, 128 Def, 124 SpD, 4 HP

Calm Mind: Because what's scarier than a maxed out base 125 Special Attack stat? Adding 1/2 of that to the stat for every Calm Mind. Also gives the added bonus of increased resistance to special moves, like Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse which would otherwise threaten Reuniclus.

Pain Split: While it isn't as reliable recovery as Recover, it does do damage to the enemy and can help whittle down tanks and enemies that resist your attacks.

And, last but not least, YOLO Set

Nature: Modest/Timid

Item: Choice Specs/Choice Scarf

EVs: 252 SpA, 252 Spe, 4 Def

Thunder: High Damage, decent coverage, why not?

Energy Ball/Flash Cannon/Focus Blast/Shadow Ball/Hyper Beam: They cover a decent amount of types, and all will definitely hurt the enemy when they hit. Hyper Beam almost guarentees that you'll have to switchout after using it, but with an overall SpA stat of almost 300 with the correct nature and the Specs, a Hyper Beam will annihilate anything that doesn't resist it. It is the Hail-Mary, and as such, do not use it until all other options have been explored.

I hope a least one of these sets are continuously viable, and I hope they were easy to understand. Thanks for reading.

My reuniclus is a bulky build:
Bold nature
Evs: 252 def, 252 hp, 6 sp. atk
Ability magic guard
Item: flame orb
Moves: calm mind, recover, psyshock (for dealing with mons with really high sp. def but low def), shadow ball
I built all of my mons like this cause I find it to fit my playstyle and I highly recommend it as many people struggled to beat my reuniclus even with z-moves that r super effective managed to survive even those a couple times.

I'll write one up for an Overcoat Reuniclus.

Reuniclus @Ring Target
Nature: Quiet
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Sp. Attack, 6 Defense/Sp. Defense
Trait: Overcoat
Role: Special Sweeper or Special Stalker

Moves:

Trick or Trick Room: Trick swaps item with the opponent. This can be helpful against Dark/Ghost types. Trick room makes the slowest Pokemon go first, the 2nd slowest 2nd, and so on. Reuniclus is really slow, so this move will really help.
Psychic: STAB, and may lower opponents Sp. Defense.
Focus Blast: Covers Dark types, but it had low accuracy.
Shadow Ball: Covers Ghost.

Your set seems to be all over the place. You want to tank, utilize trick room and also use trick. I'd recommend one of them rather then all of them
Okay. Thanks for the idea.

Reuniclus@Ring Target or Twisted Spoon
Trait: Regenerator
Nature: Bold (+Defense, -Attack)
EVs: 252 HP, 128 Defense, 128 Sp. Defense
Role: Tank

Moves:

  • Thunder Wave
  • Attract
  • Confuse Ray
  • Trick/Psychic

Thunder Wave paralyzes the opponent and halves their speed. Attract makes the opponent unable to attack sometimes if they are the opposite gender of the opponent. Confuse Ray causes the opponent to sometimes do damage to themselves. That way your opponent can't do much of anything!! And when you set up the three, he can tank a large amount of damage with it's high HP and decent defenses. Trick is in case of ground types, and Psychic is incase of Taunt.

Reuniclus @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball

This set is meant to be used in Trick Room. Before you tell me that Reuniclus can set Trick Room itself, let me explain. While Reuniclus can set Trick Room itself and can run Magic Gaurd Life Orb, Life Orb only gives a 1.3x boost. (383•1.3= 498 rounded to the nearest whole number) Choice Specs give a 1.5 boost. (383•1.5=575 rounded to the nearest whole number) Life Orb makes Reuniclus' SpA 498 while Choice Specs makes Reuniclus' Choice Specs 575. While the difference between the SpA number is 77, it makes a difference. Psyshock is STAB and can hit special walls. Focus Blast is for Dark Types. Shadow Ball is for Ghost Types. Energy Ball is for additional coverage.

recover
calm mind/confuse ray

The problem with this moveset is that you only can deal psychic damage, and this could lead to switching out. This also loses all the buffs you would be using.

Trick Room Set

Reuniclus (M/F) Leftovers
Ability:Regenerator
Evs: Sp.Def 252, Def 252, Sp. Attack 4
Nature: Sassy

MOVESET
Move 1: Trick Room
Move 2: Substitute
Move 3: Stored Power
Move 4: Calm Mind

Description: I personally love trick room users, so here is a nice moveset for an awesome lil pokémon! This moveset let's you set up with trick room/substitute. Calm mind is there to raise up your stats, and having stored power can help get some damage out on the opposing pokémon and it's more powerful if your stats are raised. And since this pokémon is pretty bulky it's really nice to use on your team for possible stalls.
