In my country we say jelly:)
And your country ( JAPAN FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DONT KNOW) Is very sophisticated .....
NO NO NO NO. use trick room, works WAY better.
Quiet nature!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For the love of Arceus, it is a TRICK set. TRICK!!
I KNOW. Trick room, then trick. Duh, then start sweeping. And trick. 2 in 1.
I Like Jelly :)
Aliens these days don't find clothes so they wear jelly! C:
But then the alien will need new jelly all the time in case it gets hungry.

Trick Room-Makes him one fast pokemon. Gives him the chance to sweep.

Psychic/Psyshock-good power, STAB.

Energy ball/Shadow ball-Covers several types. or Shadow Ball to cover ghost weakness.

Hidden power [fire]/Focus Blast/hidden power[fighting]-Hidden power [fire] covers bugs, focus blast and the other HP cover dark.

I didn't suggest flash cannon because steel has terrible coverage offensively.

Here is my set for him as a support:

Pain Split-Huge HP? Decent Defenses? Perfect candidate for Pain spite. good when he's weak.

Light screen-boosts special stats.

Reflect-Boosts physical stats.

Psyshock/energy ball-In case he needs to attack, energy ball is in case you have a dark type to deal with.

Reuniclus (M) @ Life Orb

Trait: Magic Guard

EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 SDef

Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)

  • Trick Room
  • Psyshock
  • Energy Ball
  • Shadow Ball

Reuniclus (F) @ Life Orb

Trait: Magic Guard

EVs: 176 HP / 80 Defense / 252 Sp.Atk

Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)

  • Psychic
  • Shadow Ball
  • Focus Blast
  • Trick Room

Starting off with some nice STAB with Psychic, Shadow Ball is for ghost type weakness as well as other psychics, Focus Blast hits hard on them dark types as well as annoying steel types. and Trick Room takes advantage of low speed.

You all know I had high hopes for this guy, me hoping to replace Metagross with him. Not going to happen. His Speed was the greatest letdown, why is this Generation so slow? I have decided to make him a very important team-mate however, especially for Trick Room support and Dual-Screening.

Ability: Regeneration (Since as soon as you set-up, this guy is outta here.)

EVs: Sp Attack, HP, Sp Def Nature: Quiet

Trick Room: Helps this guy move first, helps the team, cripples the foe.

Light Screen: For team-support.

Reflect: More team-support.

Future Sight: I will attack you later...

Shadow Ball
Future Sight or a status move like thunder wave
Trick Room (In double/triple battles, take advantage of all the slow pokemon in this generation)

This is the best one I've seen, but just to say, your open to steel and dark types here. Just my recommendations, because trick room already gives you the speed, I would forego the 3rd move for another cover, most preferably focus blast, to take out steel and dark, and as a finisher in general, maybe do a bit of damage to blissey.
You're definitely right. Of course, that answer was made 5 months ago and I just typed the first thing that came to mind. And thanks for the compliment!

If your going for a slow sweeper, or support set up(or both in my case):

trick room- nothing else would work better, mainly since most of the new pokemon are slower than magikarps

reflect/light screen/energy ball- depending on how your team works, you will either want set up(if you have faster sweepers, which means not using trick room, and having both walls) or energy ball if you want more type coverage. personally, energy ball is great to use.

shadow ball/focus blast/toxic/thunder wave- first two for sweep and type coverage, second two for set up.

I reccomend also trying to put in pain split if your are setting up, which could replace trick room if you are NOT going slow sweep.

good EV's depends on the role:
slow sweep: 252 Spc.Att/252 HP
fast sweep: 252 Spd/ 252 Spc.Att
set up 1 survive: 252 HP/ 128 def /124 spc defence
set up 2 speed: 252 Spd/ 252 HP
slow sweep and set up: use fast sweep as you can set up quick to use reflect ect. then sweep of any fast attackers, and use trick room before you die.

You can use any, personally, try making a team of slow sweepers, give him max in HP and special Attack, and watch as he blows up teams in an instand.

BUT! the reason I gave so much choice as it all depends on what he fights with, he is a support, main sweeper, slow at that. If you give him the time, he nearly matchs chandelure due to trick room, without trick room, hes Underused at best.

250 in both defenses, 400 Hp, decent enough Spec Attack which is 288. I love it. Favourite tank.

Reuniclus @ Scope Lens
Trait: Magic Guard
Nature: Modest
-Trick Room
-Thunder Wave
-Focus Blast

Trick Room is obvious. Thunder wave cuts the foes speed, and i personally think that electric type moves are cool on Psychic types. Psychic is for special STAB. Focus Blast is coverage with dark types, and with scope lens it is much more accurate.

Trick Room enables the slowest pokemon to move first, and although this guy is pretty slow, paralyzing the opponent 1/2's there speed, so using both wouldn't be such a good idea. Nice work though.
Actually, it is a 75% drop, but i see your point.

My shiny Reuniclus PWNS.
EV: 252 Sp. Atk 252 HP 4 Def
Nature: Quiet
Trick room: EVERY Reuniclus needs this. No trick room, no good. Quiet nature boosts this move further, and ups sp a.
Recover: Just in case. :p
Psyshock: STAB. If a special tank comes in, ur gonna need to switch out, if you have psychic, this affrcts physical defense. Good game, Blissey.
Shadow Ball: coverage.
This is, like, one of my best pokemon, in all 8 games I have.
(Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, Diamond, Platinum, SS, Black, white)
I never lose when i have this awesomeness with me.

Lol, I have the exact same thing!! That's sweet! But I didn't EV train mine, so that SUCKED. Still, it's an awesome special sweeper, and give it a life orb, depending on its ability.
Hmmm... My freind traded me those berries that take out ur EV's, if its not level 100 yet, trade it to me for a few mins sometime, Ill take out Atk EV

Ability: Magic Guard
Spyshock (sp.attack move but attacks defence)
Shadow Ball (coverage, good sp.attack move)
Pain Split (gives more hp, higher chance to move first with Thunder Wave)
Thunder Wave (makes opponent Pokemon slow and enable to move)

I'll edit one in

Quiet Nature (+SP.Attack. -Speed) or modest nature
Whatever ability you want

Trick Room (Very low speed, he will literally go first every turn with Trick Room up, not all the time)
Psychic (Good STAB move)
Recover (Heal up when low HP)
Shadow Ball (Deal with Psychic Types)

If you do not want Trick Room go for Energy Ball, Focus Blast (Does have low accuracy) or Calm Mind

Trick Room Mixed Sweeper

Reuniclus @ Life Orb
Nature: Brave (+Atk/ -Spd)
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Atk/ 130 SpAtk/ 126 HP)

  • Trick Room
  • Drain Punch
  • Shadow Ball/ Recover/ Hidden Power [Fire]
  • Psychic/ Zen Headbutt

Trick Room is the body and blood of the Pokémon. Drain Punch is coverage against Steel and Dark types (plus healing) and Blissey slaying. Shadow Ball is coverage against Ghost and Psychic types, recover is stalling (not most recommended) and Hidden Power [Fire] is coverage against bug types. Psychic and Zen Headbutt are STAB, but if you think Reuniclus needs more coverage you can swap them for one of the moves in the third row.

That jelly Psychic thing:
enter image description here

Reuniclus @ Focus Sash

Ability: Overcoat

Nature: Hasty (+Speed, -Defense)

-Shadow Ball (Effective on Ghost type)

-Signal Beam (Effective on Dark type)

-Fire Punch (Effective on Bug type)

-Psychic (STAB, good chance to lower Sp. Defense)

*You can also replace Signal Beam with Drain Punch, so it will heal Reuniclus. Also, you can replace Fire Punch with Rock Slide, although it has less accuraccy.
