Status sweeper: (holding toxic orb or life orb and just send him in when you predict a status move.)

Facade-Gets double power from Status, and gets STAB.

Swords dance-Power up his moves.

Crunch-Takes out ghosts who try to switch in on immunity.

Thunder wave-Cuts the foe's speed, allowing for a clean sweep.

Watchog (F) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Thunder Wave
- Confuse Ray
- Super Fang
- Pursuit

Thunder Wave and Confuse Ray can normally keep your opponent from attacking.
If not, you have to hope that Focus Sash does you some good... Max HP may let you take a few hits from something weak though, that's the bright side of things.

Super Fang cuts opponents health by 50% of what it's at. Meaning if you attack an opponent with max health, you can deal a decent amount of damage.

This will break walls.

Pursuit is for ghost types and opponent that switch out to avoid confusion.

I actually made this set before looking at Trachy's, and it's quite similar.

Watchog (M) @ Focus Sash

Role: Mixed Passer

Trait: Keen Eye

EVs: 252 HP / 4 SDef / 252 Spd

Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

  • Hypnosis
  • Mean Look
  • Work Up
  • Baton Pass

Hypnosis puts them to sleep, and Mean Look keep them from switching, work up, and Pass.
If you have to take an Attack, Atleast You have a Sash, reccomended, As a lead.

I somewhat like this guy. Then again, I like all of these types of Pokemon.

Ability: Analyze

EVs: Attack, Defense, Sp Def Nature: Brave

Hypnosis: Provides the chance needed for this guy to attack and do some damage.

Revenge: Combined with Analyze power would do a lot of damage, if you can survive the foes attack. Also deals with Rock and Steel types.

Return: STAB.

Crunch: To deal with Ghost types.

I don't really use my Watchog, I only use it to catch Pokemon, to cut or to light up a dark cave.

Super Fang a move that weakens the target without killing it. (Ideal for catching)
Hypnosis to make the target fall asleep, less likely to attack. (Ideal for catching)
Flash to light up caves, because I also use it in caves.
Cut an move that cuts down trees.
