Meta Battle Subway PokeBase - Pokemon Q&A

Do pre-evolution Pokemon EVs affect the evolved Pokemon?

Okay, here's an example.

You have an Eevee. You put a lot of the EV's into it's HP and Attack stat. Let's say you evolve it into Umbreon. Does Umbreon still have those HP and Attack EV's?
Also, I searched this question up but I didn't find anything related to this. If there WAS a question like this, sorry!

Yes, when a Pokemon evolves it keeps the exact same EVs as before. For example if Eevee has 100 EVs in HP and 200 in Attack, when it evolves into Umbreon it will still have 100 EVs in HP and 200 in Attack.

Its stats will be different though because the base stats change, the EVs are added on top of the base stats. Hope that makes sense.
