Why can't you go to route 10 in B/W2?

Route ten is blocked off by barriers after an apparent land slide there. It is closed off to the public for safety reasons. Gane freak probably did this to add new interesting areas to black and white two and make it more logical for marlon to be eighth gym leader, as opposed to Drayden, who would be the logical eighth leader of route ten was still around. Plus the new path to the elite four is so cool!

Oddly enough, if the player uses a cheating device to access this route in Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2, it only leads to a bunch of trees. However, if the game is reverse-engineered, the entire route is accessible, minus scripts, wild Pokémon data and buildings. In both areas, Route 6's theme plays instead of the regular Route 10 theme.
