Another weak Bug type.

Ability: Quick Feet

EVs: Speed, Attack, Defense Nature: Adamant/Impish

Megahorn: STAB.

Poison Jab: STAB.

Spikes: Set up entry hazards.

Rock Slide: Deals with Flying and Fire type foes.

Scolipede (M) @ Focus Sash

Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

Scolipede (F) @ Insect Plate
Trait: Swarm
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Megahorn
- Rock Slide

So getting a sub up can be a really good play if your opponent will let you.
Then you can start using Swords Dance. When they break your sub, keep subbing until you're low on health. Now you have Swarm + Insect Plate + STAB Megahorn.
Rock Slide is there for coverage. Earthquake is also a solid option.

Scolipede is one of the best Bug-type Pokémon. It's got a very nice Speed stat, a strong Attack stat and also a good Defense stat. The movepool is very wide, but here are my preferences:

Iron Defense: raises Defense stat by 2 stages, good for covering Rock and Flying-type weaknesses
Steamroller: STAB with a decent power, accuracy 100, may cause flinching
Poison Jab: strong STAB, accuracy 100, may poison the target
Dig: strong strategical move, covers Fire and Rock types, accuracy 100.

1) Scizor FTW!!
2) Dig is easy to switch into and counter.
3) Item?? EVs?? Role?? Nature??
Ikr, I love Scizor! Well, Dig covers well when I battle... I prefer it rather than Megahorn (which most people like, due to its low accuracy). Since I'm not a Pokémon expert (despite my age), I pick out Black Sludge, Swarm and Adamant nature.
Maybe considering putting megahorn instead of the steamroller

BABIES (Scolipede) (M) @ Leftovers

Trait: Swarm

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd

Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

  • Swords Dance
  • Megahorn
  • Rock Slide
  • Earthquake

I love this thing!!

Setting up Swords dance is easy, lets you get over 500 on your attack stat, sweeps well, and you already have a good 355 speed stat thanks to jolly! Megahorn is my personal choice of STAB, screw the 85 accuracy, you hit harder. Rock Slide is great coverage, and can drive some foes such as an adamant Weavile into the ground before they get their chance to attack you, screws over bunches of flying types, and gives overall great coverage. Earthquake is that amazing coverage move, gets 5 types, which is nice, has 100 base power, so you're leaving a mark, and covers fire, rock, steel, electric, and poison! All of which our friend here can't hardly stand! And by the name, you can tell that he's one of my rain team bug types, and one of my favorites might I add.

Id slap in focus sash there since scolipede doesn't have very good defenses
He may not have amazing defenses, but he hovers about 216 in his defense stat, and has 2 4X resistances, meaning with strategy he can survive the setup easily, most opponents have to switch to get something to take him down quickly.

I should've posted this ages ago.

Choice-Band Scolipede. DIE.

enter image description here
Centipoid (Scolipede) (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Poison Point
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Megahorn
- Rock Slide
- Superpower

With 355 Speed and 427 Attack, Unless something misses, this guy is a MONSTA and a Force to be reckoned with. I've killed 4 in a row with it, I stopped when Megahorn missed. Earthquake is coverage of the deadly Fire and Rock, and it's a powerful move, it's the best coverage option, what else is there to say? Megahorn is FREAKING STAB POWER and weakness coverage of Psychic. Rock Slide is your Flying Coverage for you, along with many others. SuperPower is even more coverage.
