Do any of these sets make sense for Jolteon?

I can't decide!

1) thunder wave/ volt switch/ toxic/ double team

2) discharge/ shadow ball/ thunder wave/ double team

3) rain dance/ thunder/ shadow ball/ double team

4) volt switch/ discharge/ shadow ball/ double team

why are you so keen on using Double Team? I can't usually be bothered with that move. As such, I don' t like any of these sets, although most of the would be fine if you changed Double Team for something else, in my opinion.

Double Team is annoying when it works, annoying when it doesn't. It's banned competitively, and even in-game, you're much better off just using a damaging move rather than spamming an evasion move.

Jolteon @ Life Orb/ Choice Scarf
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Nature: Modest/ Timid
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power Ice/ Signal Beam

Jolteon is best used as a full out attacker. Signal Beam is an option when you can't breed a Jolteon with Hidden Power Ice.

Ignore the EVs/ Nature/ items if you're using this Jolteon in-game.

Toxic would be really useful, unless you're up against a steel or poison type. Each turn the opponent takes more and more damage from toxic. Shadow Ball is a commonly known move for the eevee family, plus sometimes it lowers an opponent's sp. defense which makes it a little more powerful. The last two moves should be rain dance and thunder. Rain dance will give an absolute hit for thunder. Try this and you'll be satisfied.
