No. Anything you hear about beating the elite four a certain amount of times is a hoax.

All you get from the elite four is experience, money, entries in the hall of fame, and after the first time, bonus content at the end of the game.

Ok thnx, I hate all the rumors there is about obtaining mew or celebi, every version since yellow has one, and there you are like an idiot trying them lol! Well at least my pokemon at the daycare got lots of exp points from all the walking I did in victory road tryin to find mew lol.
