I love Drapion, he has great type defenses. I'll post the moveset that I'm currently using.

Here's the moveset I'm currently using, I heard this somewhere and thought it sounded pretty good. It is!

First you need a Drapion with the Sniper ability (which makes critical hits 3x power instead of 2x). Hold a Razor Claw to increase CH ratio even more. Then:

  • Toxic Spikes (poisons opponents switching in, badly poisons if you put down two layers of spikes)
  • Night Slash (high critical-hit ratio)
  • Cross Poison (high critical-hit ratio)
  • Brick Break (type coverage)

EVs option 1: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4HP - good spread and takes advantage of Drapion's speed.
EVs option 2: 252 Attack, 156 HP, 100 Speed - I have a Drapion with this to account for the fact we're using Toxic Spikes - we need to be able to take a couple of hits in order to lay down the spikes.

The moves aren't all that powerful on their own, but you can get a CH every 3-4 attacks which is a killer. If you don't care about CH you could use Crunch and Poison Jab for a little more power and you might get lucky with some critical hits.

I'd consider ice fang over brick break because it clears those ground times that are so "scary". (deals with flying, dragons and earth <3 )
Earthquake is very viable due to that 100 100. Earthquakes hurts, always. Considering u got dat awsome sniper ability and a nice razor claw/lens , you crit averaging, 2 of ur 10 earthquakes. ( I got ice fang aswell, so i dont mind about most flying and enough coverage/damage for those levitate pains)

on nature, i'd consider an Impish or Careful. The innate increase on his defences will make him sturdier and able to stall a lot. (EV's u got it perfect :D )
the same moveset that I use :D but I have Ice Fang over Brick Break to take some Ground-types ^_^ and the EVs I don't know because I have upgraded it when I didn't know anything about EVs, Natures and this complicated things.

Here are some other choices for a Drapion moveset. I like your moveset Pokemaster, but I personnaly would replace Toxic Spikes with Earthquake. Another option is this moveset when you don't have the Sniper ability or Razor Claw:

Poison Jab: Good power, high accuracy, STAB, good chance to poison.
Crunch: Good power, high accuracy, STAB, decent chance to lower Defense.
X-Scissor: Good power and high accuracy.
Ice Fang: Decent power, decent accuracy, chance to freeze or cause flinching, deals with Ground types.

Well the benefit of Toxic Spikes is that after two uses, every pokemon that switches in gets badly poisoned so you don't need to waste a turn using Toxic, just start hitting them! It keeps working after Drapion has fainted too. :)
Why do you have that rule about not switching out? Surely it's an advantage if your opponent switches because you get a free shot or a chance to up your stats :)
I have that rule because otherwise it is just switching all the time. It becomes pretty boring. So, I have this rule.

Cross Poison\Sludge Bomb-STAB,both have good accuracy,I would go for Sludge Bomb because it has a bit more power than Cross Poison and has a 30% chance of poisoning the foe instead of 10% like most other poison moves. Then again,Cross Poison does have a high Critical hit ratio.

Dark Pulse-Good Power,good accuracy,STAB.You could have Crunch instead,though.

Ice Fang-Deals with Ground types, chance to flinch or freeze.

Earthquake\Hyper Beam\Giga Impact-Moves ike these might help with emergencies.Like if other moves you have are no good on the foe.
OR
Toxic\Swagger-Lets say your Drapion is low on HP and you think he'll go down on the next turn.Well if he has high speed, you may want to give the foe somthing to remember him by.Bad Poison,Confusion or other things like that.

Drapion has a Mere 60 Sp. Attack . Slude Bomb is Worthless compared to Cross-Poison .
Same For Hyper-Beam .
But why are you putting a bunch of special attacks on it when its attack outclasses the SpA by a lot? Still stuck with the Gen III mentality? :P

can you change the b- word, I find it a little inappropriate to younger users, and will make the site a
better, safer site. Thanks
Done.
Thanks for the reminder, what I wrote actually sounded stupid anyway.

Pokemon : Drapion
Nature : Adamant
Abillity : Sniper
Held Item : Scope Lens/Razor Claw
Movesets
Cross Poison : STAB, High Power, Has Great Critical Hit Ratio
Night Slash : STAB, Also Has Great Critical Hit Ratio
Ice Fang or Aqua Tail : For My Personal Thaught I Think Ice Fang Is Better Because Aqua Tail Tends To Miss A Lot
Swords Dance or Toxic Spikes : A Move That Boosts Drapion's Attack or a move that Poisons Targets Switching in

Drapion @ Scope Lens

Ability: Sniper

Nature: Adamant (+Attack, -Sp. Atk.)

-Aqua Tail (Coverage for Ground Pkmn)

-Toxic Spikes (When a foe switches out, it will be poisoned)

-Night Slash (STAB, good power, good chance for a critical hit)

-Cross Poison (STAB, good power, signature move of Drapion)

*The Night Slash critical hit ratio is now 1/4 so take advantage of that!

I've found that Drapion has good Speed, Attack, Defense, and typing. So, yeah, pretty great.

-Ability: Sniper (This will boost the power of any critical hit, which is part of the strategy)

-Item: Razor Claw (Increases critical hit ratio)

Moves:

  • Night Slash and Cross Poison (Both 70 power, STAB, with high critical-hit ratios, boosted by Razor Claw, and even stronger thanks to Sniper)

  • Aqua Tail (Drapion's only weakness is Ground, and it can learn Ice Fang. However, Aqua Tail has more power, and unless you're fighting Torterra, Aqua Tail covers everything Ice Fang does)

  • Hone Claws (Aqua Tail doesn't have perfect accuracy, but Hone Claws remedies that. It also boosts the power of Drapion's other moves)

You may want to add a move to cover steel types, if I switched in Steelix on that you are completely walled.
