Meta Battle Subway PokeBase - Pokemon Q&A

What is a good moveset for Rotom (Frost form)?

placed this here since all the forms were not in place, and putting all the rotom sets on the "all forms" question would get very jumbled.

great idea well okay here go's

rotom @Life Orb or Leftovers

thunderbolt/Discharge STAB
hex -Doubles in damage when the target has a status.
thunder wave/Reflect/Light screen/Trick-Thunder wave gives that status to the opponent, and the dual screens help him pad attacks better.
blizzard STAB; works better on hail teams though.

i hope you liked

Rotom-F
Ability: levitate
Nature: timid (modest is also acceptable)
Item: choice scarf or choice specs
EVs: 4hp 252 sp atk 252 spd
Moves:
Blizzard
Volt switch/thunderbolt
Trick
Shadow ball/ hidden power fire/ hidden power ground

This an extremely offensive take on Rotom F. With choice specs his attacks become potent, and with a choice scarf he becomes a good revenge killer. Blizzard serves as his standard ice type STAB. Volt switch allows Rotom F to switch while keeping momentum, and thunderbolt is a decent and powerful attack. Trick allows him to be free of his item and to cripple walls. In the last slot, shadow ball provides a well powered attack available to all, while both hidden powers listed above assist in covering Rotom's offensive and defensive weaknesses.

Hope this is useful

Fridge Rotom @ Life Orb

Trait: Levitate

EVs: 192 HP / 64 SAtk / 252 Spd

Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

  • Volt Switch
  • Blizzard
  • Will-O-Wisp
  • Hex

This crazy fridge got some nice STAB volt blizzard so yeah that's pretty awasome expect for the worthless accuracy of blizzard.
then we got Will-O-Wisp and Hex combo wich is pretty cool too.

Double/Triple Fridge and Freezer!(And sometimes TV)
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 S.Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Hp

Blizzard
Discharge
Hex
Light-screen/Reflect

Blizzard is STAB and it hits 2 Pokemon at once, and has a Freezing chance. Discharge is STAB and hits multiple Pokemon, and it has a 30% Paralysis chance. Hex is STAB and makes use of the high status chance. Reflect/Light-screen are for team support depending on which one your team needs more.
