Stone Edge is a Rock type move with 100 base power and 80 accuracy, and has a higher chance of getting a critical hit than usual (1/8 instead of 1/16).
I would see this as a secondary effect, is it not?
I see what you mean, but I think the difference is that all moves have some chance of a critical hit. If they were activated by Sheer Force, would they go back to the regular crit chance, or have no chance at all of a critical hit?
