Well, let's see what we have here... Bulky Water type with only one weakness, amazing Attack stat, and can set up Rocks... Let's begin, shall we?

Swampert @ Leftovers
Swampert
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 Atk / 176 HP / 80 Def
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

So, the goal of this set is only to set up Stealth Rock. If you accomplish that and can take another hit or two or twenty, then this set provides some physical coverage for you. Waterfall just lets you hit anything like the firetrucker you are. Earthquake and Stone edge let you form an EdgeQuake combo, thus meaning nothing will be resisting these moves. Working best in OU (with this set), you are guaranteed to take stuff down, or set up rocks at least :P

by
The moves sets good but if you added iceball instead Wich is physical you could give coverage against the one weakness he has
iceball?
Being locked into a move for 5 turns doesn’t appeal to a lot of people, so I suggest using ice punch instead

Swampert
Swampert-Mega @ Swampertite
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Power-Up Punch
- Earthquake
- Waterfall
- Ice Punch

by
Shame it lost power-up punch in gen 8
It didn't you can still get it in Gen 8 requires Gen 6 and then you transfer it to bank to home to sword and shield.
Sadly i don’t have a 3ds or X & Y,
I think avalanche would be better on its cuz hits both opponents and takes advantage of its lower speed stat
It has a lower speed stat because you're supposed to make use of Swift Swim.

Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD
Careful Nature
- Flip Turn
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Waterfall/Roar
A stealth rocks lead. Flip Turn pivots out, and Earthquake and waterfall are stab. Leftovers can heal off damage, and it can take hits and lay out the stealth rocks. Roar can force switches

Swampert
Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpA
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spe)

  • Substitute
  • Focus Punch
  • Earthquake
  • Ice Beam/Ice Punch

Substitute allows it to pull off Focus Punch and is good all around protection.
Focus Punch has very good power and can be used pretty reliably thanks to Sub.
STAB Earthquake has very good power as well.
Ice Beam rounds out the coverage by hitting Flying types, mainly.
Ice Punch can also be used if you prefer to stick to Physical moves.
Brave nature is used to boost attack while still not lowering any of the defenses or SpA so Ice Beam can be used.

Ice Punch>Ice Beam, due to his low Sp.A.
wouldn't it be better for adamant nature so you could have more attack without sacrificing speed?
Ice Beam is special, Ice Punch is better too, I think they want a slow Substitute so they can set up Focus Punch this is a SubPunch set.

Doubles Support Swampert
Swampert
Swampert (M) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 220 Atk / 36 SDef
Careful Nature
- Wide Guard
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Roar

Wide Guard and Roar are handy in that Wide Guard allows your team to avoid spread damage attacks, allowing the partner to avoid damage from the likes of Earthquake, Rock Slide, etc. while attacking the opponent, and Roar can force out a potentially burdensome opponent, like a trick room user (it should be noted that roar has a greater priority than trick room) and disorient the opposing player. The EVs allow Swampert to survive a water gem boosted Hydro Pump from Politoed in rain, Latias's dragon gem draco meteor, and even support Thundurus's Grass Knot to name a few, while also granting Swampert considerable attacking power.

Mega Swampert
Swampert @ Swampertite
Ability: Torrent/Damp. Doesn't really matter in this set
Ability M: Swift Swim
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Hammer Arm/Stone Edge
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch

Try getting up rain before sending him in, and then just sweep.
enter image description here
Hard hitting bulk
Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent/Damp What you prefer the most
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def-SpD
Adamant/Brave Nature
- Hammer Arm/Stone Edge
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch/Avalanche

My favorite set at the moment for Swampert.

Bulky lead
Swampert @ Leftovers/Rindo Berry
Ability: Torrent/Damp
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Roar
- Stealth Rock

Just get up rocks as early as possible

Can Mega Swampert be a Jolly Nature too to have a good moveset?
@jacobalex98 Yeah sure, but I would put as much as possible in Attack because it would hit more hard and on a rain team you really don't need so much investment in Speed
why is hammer arm an option if you want to make use of swift swim?

Tank Swampert

Swampert @ Rindo Berry
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Adamant (+ Atk, -SpA) OR Careful (+SpD, -SpA)
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SpD / 4 HP OR 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Atk
- Waterfall- physical STAB move
- Earthquake- coverage, STAB, and generally awesome
- Curse- increases your power and bulkiness while reducing your pointless Speed
- Stone Edge/Avalanche- high power coverage move

Careful raises SpD, not Speed.
That's what he put. SpD is Special Defense, not Speed. Spe is Speed.
For me this is the Perfect Swampert:Careful!
Speed is Spd. Special Defense is SpecDef. Special Attack is SpecAtk.

Made this set during my car ride to Florida, just now getting around to posting it up!

Da Swamp (Swampert) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Modest
EVs: 196 HP / 252 SpA / 60 SpD

-Scald (STAB. Burn gives good physical protection.)
-Ice Beam (Great coverage.)
-Hidden Power [Electric] (More great coverage. Pairs well with Ice Beam.)
-Rest (Gives some kind of reliable recovery to an extent. I also have mine on a team with Cleric Bliss. So... Wish passing and Heal belling ftw!)

Swampert @ Petaya Berry
Trait: Torrent
EVs 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Hp / 4 Atk
Quiet Nature
~Substitute
~Hydro Pump
~Earth Power
~Ice Punch

So everyone knows how "SubPetaya Empoleon"was a threat in UU Thats how I came up with this set Tho Swampert isn't the fastest he is pretty bulky and has an average Sp.Atk stat with can be worked around with EV investment. So basically the strategy is to set up sub till your down to 25% then Smash. AnywayFeel free to leave comments on this

Ice punch can be exchanged with Hammer arm.
My opinion.
I upvotesd this set because I know what mixed swampert can do to people. Its very good!  And gaba, he needs ice punch to blast ice types to oblivion.
Wrong spelling of Empoleon , and you need to have at least 1 physical move;which to me should be e-quake

This one's my personal favorite. Swampert is beast!

Swampert @Assault Vest
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 HP, and 4 Def
Nature: Adamant (+Att , -Sp.Att)

  • Waterfall (STAB and chance to flinch)
  • Earthquake (Awesome move, STAB)
  • Avalanche/Ice Punch (Coverage. Avalanche is better IMO)
  • Stone Edge/Hammer Arm (Coverage. I usually run Stone Edge but Hammer Arm is good if you have no Fighting attack)

This was my first post on this website so thanks for reading!

Swampert @ Swampertite
Ability: Damp
EVs: 252 Atk / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Rain Dance
- Earthquake
- Waterfall
- Ice Punch

Swampert is a monster in the rain. Rain Dance is in my opinion, the better option rather than wasting a slot for Politoed in a team, since Swampert definitely has the bulk for setting up a Rain Dance with 100/110/110. Once in the Rain, you can outspeed almost everything barring Scarfed Greninja and kill them with that epic 150 attack with a rain-boosted STAB Waterfall.

Swampert @ Swampertite
Ability: Damp
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD or 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Impish or Careful Nature
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Rest
- Sleep Talk/Toxic/Yawn/Roar

And lets make use of those good defenses with a ResTalk set to take hits and wear opponents down. Swampert has 336 attack uninvested, so it'll still hit things relatively hard for such a defensive Pokemon. Get in there with STAB Waterfall and Earthquake, then Rest and Sleep Talk for healing and continuing to get damage off. Toxic can also work if your team needs it, or Yawn or Roar for forcing switches.

I think that with the speed Swampert has, I won't boost it.

Swampert (M) @ Muscle Band - Physical tank
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 128 HP / 252 Atk / 128 Def
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)

  • Waterfall: STAB
  • Earthquake: STAB
  • Brick Break: Nice coverage. Breaks Reflect & Light Screen
  • Curse: Nice stat boosting move
by

really good moves but you should replace curse with bulk up so his speed isn't lowered
Swampert already has really bad speed, it doesn't matter
His speed is bad, but bulk up would be better so that he can out speed other swamperts.
change curse with bulk up and use hammer arm instead of brick break. also, use liquidation instead of waterfall for more power since swampert is slow so it can't flinch. this makes it better for more power and the defense drop.

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Def / 4 SpA
Brave Nature
- Stealth Rock / Roar
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Hammer Arm / Roar

Mainly for UU. This Swampert aims to stay in on threats that wall it, and destroy them with ease. Roar is a great asset to this Swampert, for if you don't need either of those moves, replace it with Roar. Standard EVs from TankPert. Ice Beam over Waterfall to destroy those pesky Gligar and Grass Types more easily. Snorlaxes and Porygon2s with Thunder Wave can get destroyed by Hammer Arm.

Gen V
Swampert (M) @ Rindo Berry
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Role: Bulky Physical Sweeper

-Waterfall / Aqua Tail (STAB)
-Earthquake (STAB + very good move)
-Ice Punch (Swampert's main coverage + every Water type should have Ice type moves)
-Stone Edge (High crit chance + very good move)

Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Avalanche
- Earthquake
- Curse

This is my opinion.

by
No offense A Geeky Jawa but, you do know that if you have Avalanche, you have a move with -4 priority leaving 'Pert vulnerable to Grass types the turn you use it?
Yeah back then I had this problem where I always added coverage even if it would be useless. I still remember battles where I lost to that.
Also no offense taken, especially since this was like, my first moveset on the site, I don't think I knew what I was doing with this moveset :P
Okay. This is acceptable, I used to suck at movesets too. (Cough Cough, my first Battle Subway post ever. Cough Cough)

Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Facade
- Earthquake
- Hammer Arm

by
Its a good moveset
Gaba's right except for bulky pelliper resists waterfall and hammer arm and is immune to e-quake . Plus , Swampert's only weakness ; the grass type can easily sweep you due to you not having coverage

Hey guys this is my 1st guide so I hope you guys LIKE it :P

WarNinG (Swampert) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk/ 4 SpD
Adamant Nature

-Earthquake: (STAB MAN!)
-Ice Ball: (Coverage, and it is painful due to the POWER-UP-PUNCH!)
-Power-Up-Punch: (Good to increase Swampert's Attack and become muscular fish.....lol)
-Substitute!: (To block the status like burn, and is a combo with Ice Ball + Power-Up-Punch!)

Well my Swampert will basically switch in when against a wall or something that can't hurt Swampert badly, such as Blissey or Fire Punch. Then I will use Substitute first for some protection. After that, I will see what Pokemon the enemy switches in. If it is not harmful to Swampert, I will use MUSCLE-BUILD-PUNCH and raise my Attack 1 stage. In the opposite scenario, I will switch or damage it with Earthquake. Then, I will see my Substitute has break or not. If not, I just Earthquake it to death, or I will use Substitute again. Due to Swampert's Attack, you may have a chance to OHKO it with the boosted Earthquake, if it is not, just use Ice Ball :D This works when the opposing Pokemon faints with 30 base damage Ice Ball, then the Ice Ball will become a Super Sweeping Ball! So this is my guide, you can comment this if you want :)

Swampert @ Assault Vest
Ability: Damp / Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

-Avalanche
-Earthquake
-Power-Up-Punch
-Stone Edge

I'm surprised this one isn't on yet!
enter image description here
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: (252 Hp/156 Sp.def/152 Def)/(200Hp/100 Atk/104 Def/104 Sp.def)
Nature: (Brave/Adamant)/(Impish/Relaxed)/(Careful/Sassy)
-Toxic
-Protect
-Waterfall
-Substitute/Power-up-punch
Alright. Lemme explain. Evs are to take hits and Swampert has nice defences. Nature is up to you. Sp.def, Def, or Atk?
Toxic to stall.
Protect to stall even more and for leftovers recovery.
Waterfall so you won't be completely shut down by Taunt.
Power-up-punch for a bit more offence or sub to stall even more.
The ones in italics go together.
I hope this set brings victory to many! :D

This was inspired by a Mudkip I got on Wonder Trade. This is tested in Pokemon Showdown, and he is the end of the world if used right. And you don't have to use use Politoed, but you can use my Empoleon set! He is a support Empoleon, so look at it in his moveset question. Now, here is the set.

Swampert @ Swampertite
Ability: Damp / Swift Swim
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
IVs: 0 SpA

-Waterfall (for STAB and killer coverage.)
-Earthquake (must I say why?)
-Ice punch (for giving Grass types frostbite.)
-Brick break (for breaking bricks.)

And just to note, if you can't use my Empoleon set (which is recommended), you can use anyone who has Drizzle. Hope you like it :)

I have a feeling you're new here , and I can state reasons why I think that:
1.EmpoleOn
2.Swampertite is the name of the mega stone
3.You don't need iv's
