Scald is good too if you want the 30% burn.

Hydro pump, STAB, high power

Blizzard, high power, good type

Rain dance, power up hydro pump,

calm mind, power up hydro pump agian and blizard,

Great because he can learn them all without TMs, and he can get STAB, Rain and calm mind for his hydro pump, for OHKO.

While your set is powerful, hydro pump and blizzard aren't that reliable, and with only 5 PP each, and the fact that most pokemon that face suicune in competitive battling have the ability pressure, it will run out of PP very quickly.
Plus, you aren't wasting anything with Surf.
I agree with DT.

Try this moveset:

Surf: Good power, STAB, double damage against Pokemon using Dive, high accuracy, better PP than Hydro Pump.

Ice Beam: Good power, high accuracy, chance to freeze, used to deal with Grass types, type coverage.

Calm Mind: Boosts it's special stats.

Reflect: Raises Suicune's and its team's defense.

Another option is to replace Reflect with Substitute, which will help you charge up Calm Mind.

So Suicune would be used as a sweeper?
No. I think that Suicune is WAY better as a special tank.

The all famous CroCune! Given this name because it was used by the battler Cromat in Gen III.

Suicune @ Leftovers

Trait: Pressure

EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 8 Spd / 36 SAtk

Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

  • Calm Mind
  • Rest
  • Sleep Talk
  • Surf / Scald

Calm Mind will boost your Sp. Atk and Sp. Def. Rest will heal you, and Sleep Talk will either attack your opponent or Set up even more (but there's a 33% chance that you'll try to Rest again :/). Surf is for more power, and use Scald if you want the 30% burn.

It's not a 25% chance, it's a 33% chance because you can't use Sleep Talk again when you're using Sleep Talk leaving only Calm Mind, Rest, and Surf/Scald to be able to be used.
Oh right. Thanks

Item: Leftovers

Ability: Water Absorb (DW)

  • Surf-STAB.
  • Reflect-Boosts defense. with its special bulk, this makes a pretty hard kill. Deals with the physical UU titans like Arcanine, Donphan, Staraptor and Nidoking.
  • Ice Beam-Deals with grass weakness. Gets powered in hail teams and picks off Staraptor.
  • Hidden Power [Grass]-Deals with other water types like Slowbro.

Suicune @ Leftovers

Trait: Pressure

EVs: 252 HP / 4 Spa / 252 SDef

Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)

  • Scald 30% burn.

  • Rest Healing.

  • Sleep Talk Works great with rest.

  • Ice Beam For grass types.

I use specially defensive suicune beacuse scald helps
physical defence with burn.

Good set. I use this myself. The special defense makes perfect sense with correlation with the BURN from Scald.

Modest Nature
Water ABsorb ability
100: def, 252: spa, 100: def, 58: speed

Surf: STAB, power
Ice Beam: deals with pesky Grass types
Extrasensory: Good power, acc, PP
Air Slash/Shadow Ball: Depends on if you have a wifi Suicune or not.

Nature: Modest
Stats: 252 spa, 100 def, 100 spd, 58 spe
Surf/Hydro Pump: Depends if you want reliability or just pain power
Ice Beam: To take care of those pesky Grass types. Hitting those annoying bird Pokemon doesn't hurt either
Extrasensory: A must have if you ask me. Very few Pokemon can use this move, so make use of the ones who can. It's also good for some extra coverage, and a 20% flicnh rate ain't bad either
Shadow Ball/Signal Beam/Snarl: Again, depends on preference. I'd rather go with Shadow Ball myself.

Status Based

Nature: Calm/Bold
Stats: 252 def (Bold), 252 spd (Calm), 100 spa, 158 HP
Mirror Coat/ Protect
Substitute/Calm Mind
Hydro Pump/Surf

Suicune @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 4 SpA / 96 SpD (Physically Defensive) 252 HP / 96 Def / 4 SpA / 256 SpD (Specially Defensive)
Relaxed Nature
- Protect
- Toxic
- Scald/Ice Beam
- Aqua Ring

I love toxic stalling, and this Suicune set gets it done. Protect and Toxic are pretty standard, Scald is damage with the chance to burn stuff that you can't poison though you can run Ice Beam if you hate Toxicroak. Aqua Ring seems questionable, but on top of Leftovers recovery, you heal 12% with an Aqua Ring. If you then protect on the following turn, it's another 12% heal, totaling for a free 24% healing on something as bulky as Suicune.

As for the EVs, they can take an attack from both sides pretty well with some specialization in one side. Notably, the physically defensive one only gets 2KO'd by a Honchkrow at +1.

Just a quick reply of this set doing work.
